Phil's blush soon turned into a look of genuine interest as Zed continued to speak.

Oooo. Guess that means you've had plenty of time to master the craft huh?! That's so cool!

Phil then tilts his head to the side a bit.

But I'm curious...what happened to the humans you mentioned?

Phil quickly vaults over his podium and dashes over to Zed, his tail wagging like crazy.

This game show stuff is so 6 fun! You really know how to mix it up! How long have you been doing this stuff anyway?

Zeds own was wagging swiftly and his hair seemed to move, curling over itself in tendrils as the large zourark practically vibrated in place.

“I’m so happy to hear that you’re enjoying our little show! I must say I’m quite impressed with your own showmanship! You make quite the perfect contestant! Smart, charismatic, it’s all good for the camera! You should join us for more shows after this one!”

Zed pauses to fiddle with his cuffs and clears his throat, “as for how long I’ve been doing this, well I must admit this is my first time being properly on air. However I’ve been preforming since I was a mere pup! Ah back when the humans lived here my handler used to love to watch shows like this with me. I learned to imitate them with the help of my illusions and I was among the most popular pokemon with my tricks! And now I can truly be a star with thousands of eyes on me!”

"Wowwy-wowzers! I've scared more jimmy-jammies out of more Pokemon than expected!" Kuruna would say this while having the largest of grins plastered all over her face. "That marks another score to my book of scares, hehehe~!"

"Huh- Whatzits you said?.. Oh-- OH! You want to know who the awesome ol' me is~? Wellllllllllll..."

"The one and only! Make sure to never forget which tootiest of Eevee scared your jimmy-jammies off! Or else I'll sneak into your room and give you the spoops and doops! You will FOREVER have nightmares about me, if you dare forget about who was the one that scared your jim-jams!" She rubbed her paws together in a rather devilishly evil manner. Trying to make herself seem sinister to the Pokemon around her.

"Make sure all your friends, families, strangers from the streets, Trubbishs in the sewers, and your local neighborhood grumpy pants Drampa knows who I am!"

Kuruna couldn't boast for long, as soon her attention had been hooked in by yet another Pokemon. One that stood by not too far from Vesta's position.

But alas, she seemed to have missed her target- landing just behind the Ribombee, instead of pouncing directly onto her prey-- Er, I mean unsuspecting victim. Undeterred, Kuruna crouched low, as her eyes locked onto the fluttering bug. She lifted her tail up in the air, giving it a determined little wiggle. This time for sure she wouldn't fail to catch this frightened creature. ... Or so she thought.

Her plans, foiled! Being snatched up by this stranger! Oh the horror, the audacity! Who would dare to commit such blasphemous act?! To prevent this "innocent" little Eevee from claiming her rightful dinner? And what could be worse is they picked her up without so much as a hint of begging for her permission! Oh the things she would say! The venomous words she long to unleash, to convey her disdain and absolute outrage at such insolence! Why, she ought to--

"I'll forget everything that happened, if you just scritchy-scratch scratch me a weeeee bit more on the head~!" "Mmmm that's the spot!"

The lucario tail perked up in surprise at the sudden shift in topic, his surprise was soon replaced by excitement.

Ooooo playing hardball now huh? I like it! While the question is a bit random and out there compared to the first three, I actually know the answer! Being a wandering adventurer I travel a lot and try to learn as much as I can to help me in my journeys, Kalos just so happens to be a place I visited and learned quite a bit about.

With that being said I can say with certainty that the answer is D! Water rocks wouldn't you say?

Phil: Whoaaaa...a game show!? Sounds like those things Brainiac always watches between experiments! Can I play!? What's the objective!? I'll do whatever it takes!

Zed could barely hold back his excitement, practically vibrating on the spot. “Taff set the stage! WERE HAVING A POP QUIZ!”

The zoroark grabbed the camera, the background seemed to meld together as he spun with the device. Snapping to a stop Zed pointed towards the stage. several empty podiums now stood there. With a clap and a flash of light the contestants were teleported to their respective spots.

Celeste responds, flicking her tail back and forth.

I assume it's been handed down to you by your parents but you haven't had a chance to cultivate it yet. You'll need it in your quest to fulfill an age-long prophecy and ultimately save the world

B-But no one ever mentioned having aura power in the family...can...can I really use them?

Okko asked himself, hugging his tails.

I think you can!

Phil exclaims, placing a paw on Okko's shoulder.

I think you can do it, you just need to believe in yourself. I don't know if there's something that happened before that's making you have doubts but if Vesta says you were sent here to help by using this power then I think you can do it!

This causes Okko to stare at Phil with wide eyes, he was never used to this from most people back home yet here he was getting encouraged by a lucario he hadn't even known for a day.

Okko isn't the only one with special abilities Phil. You also hold a great power within you

Vesta chimes in, giving Phil a knowing glance.

What do you mean?

The lucario asked with his head tilted.

Well this will come as a shock to you...but you are the last of Arceus' chosen. You wield a portion of his power and are a demigod in training.

A DEMIGOD?!

Phil and Okko yell out in unison once again.

Not so loud! But yes...I'll give you two time to process everything I've told you.

Vesta replies, lying down under a tree.

TLDR: Vesta explains that Okko has latent potential and has to unlock it to help fulfill the prophecy and help save the world. She also goes on to reveal that Phil is one of the last members of a long-lost clan that chooses one of their own to inherit a portion of Arecus' powers and that he is said member as well.

Long Text Incoming. TLDR At The End

When Vesta arrived what she saw made her face twist in horror. Phil was currently fighting against what seemed to be a battle-crazed garchomp, normally she would trust in Phil's fighting abilities to win but this was different. This garchomp was disfigured, elements of other dragon types were mixed into their form and the moves it was using were all dragon-type moves some of which it shouldn't be able to use. It was only when she really focused she realized...

The garchomp was exuding the energy of Arceus' plates, specifically the dragon plate...

Upon realizing Phil was fighting a losing battle Vesta quickly intervened, blasting the powered-up dragon type with moonblast.

GRK!

The garchomp was sent flying into a nearby tree, almost toppling it with impact

Phil! Okko! Quickly grab onto me!

Celeste screamed at the pair who quickly ran over and grabbed one of her outstretched ribbons. Once she was sure they had a good grip, she teleported away.

Grrr, that damn sylveon got here before I could thrash the mutt!

The garchomp exclaims, finally recovering from the blast. Meanwhile, the trio appears in another forest far from their previous location.

Phew...thanks for the save...I didn't know sylveons could learn teleport.

Phil chimed in, panting a bit.

W-Who...or what was that weird garchomp? T-They looked really weird...

Okko asked, shaking a bit. Celeste then sighs before facing the pair

There's a lot I have to tell you. But first, an introduction is in order. My name is Vesta, and I know teleport because I'm actually part mew. You two are a part of something that will determine the state of the world...

TLDR: Vesta finds Phil locked in combat with a mutated garchomp, capable of using dragon-type moves they shouldn't know. She realizes that the garchomp is using the power of Arceus' Draco Plate. After saving Okko and an outmatched Phil, Vesta introduces herself and begins explaining their mission to both Phil and Okko and why Phil is now targeted.
