actually i do think andromaquynh’s relationship in tog2 should have been more explicit (i am not even talking about kissing even in a flashback) there could easily have been with “i know you were - are in love with Quỳnh” and i am actually still annoyed with charlize theron on “the ambiguity of it.” like yes, i do think andyquynh are still romantic/canon/whatever either way, but come on i hate the dancing around it.

i don’t … think with tog’s sequel (cough script esp) the team could have given true nuance and depth for Quỳnh as a full-fledged antagonist. i actually think they would have fucked it up. van did fantastic with what she got in tog2, and she would no doubt have done amazing with a bigger role. BUT i don’t think this team could have done that story well. they didn’t even do this story well despite some of the elements i like
