i think one of the must mind numbingly exhausting things about restrictive eating disorders has to be the waiting. Waiting till you get to weigh yourself, waiting for your fast to finish, waiting till you get to eat, waiting for your friends to leave so you can log your calories, waiting for your workout to be over, waiting for you to lose the weight. It's like you're stuck in this never ending state of waiting, the days, sometimes the hours or even minutes just drag on and it's awful but almost worse it's so boring and you can distract yourself, you can be busy every second of every day but it's impossible to distract yourself from the fact that it's all just a way to pass time to get some destination that's impossible to reach.

It surprises me that when people talk about BMIs (especially lower ones) they don't mention how much height effects it, because two people who are BMI 17 for example can look different if one is 5'1 and one is 5'8

Tracking calories biweekly instead of by day is so much easier ( what I mean is you set a limit for the week not for the day) 3000 calories overall in a week instead of 450 cal per day. ( Example you can eat 1000 calories 3 days of the week and just fast inbetween them )

I had a @na friend once she was super religious and her BMI was like 16-17, and when I asked her how she never binges she just told me that eating/binging is gluttony and that anyone who does it is an uncontrolled pig. I still envy her mindset though we stopped being friends long ago
