알바천국 - 천국의 알바 17기

이번 학기에 신청한 프로그램 중 '천국의 알바'라는 알바천국에서 진행하는 프로그램이 있다.  최선을 다해 자기소개서를 작성하고 기다리니 Sydney의 ZIGI's Restaurant의 홍보 매체를 생각해보라는 미션이 왔다.  호주에도 역시 관심이 많고 홍보에도 관심이 많기에 바로 아이템에 대해 생각을 하기 시작한 나.  어떤 게 있을까?   1. 아이템은 현실적으로   남들이 생각치 못한 기발한 아이디어.  '와 이건 진짜 의외다.'하는 아이디어.  좋다.  현실성이 있다면.  사업에 있어 가장 중요한 것은 '현실가능성'이다.  기발한 아이디어라도 비용이 예상수익보다 크다면  기업으로 하여금 그 사업을 진행할 필요를 못느끼는 것은 당연한 일이니까.  1-1. ZIGI의 현재  (편의상 ZIGI로 축약을 한다.)  ZIGI 레스��랑은 여타 다른 호주의 레스토랑의 성질을 비슷하게 가지고 있다.  - 충실하게 자신의 아이템을 강조한다.   (ZIGI 홈페이지의 About ZIGI를 보면 다음과 같�� 문구를 볼 수 있다.  Welcome to ZIGI Group. Our group offers a wide range of services from Art Wine Cheese Bar,  a cooking School, Art Gallery and Personal Chef Service.)  즉, ZIGI는 와인, 치즈와 더불어 요리 수업, 갤러리 등을 진행하는 식당이다.   -  시간 관련 프로모션  호주의 대부분의 식당은 특정 시간에 방문하면 할인 혹은 증정 이벤트와 더불어  시즌에 맞게 새로운 종류의 아이템을 선보인다.  ZIGI 역시 이러한 특징을 보이고 있다.   - 홍보 아이템  주력 아이템 중 ZIGI가 소셜미디어에서 주로 홍보를 하는 아이템은  '와인, 맥주 그리고 안주를 할 수 있는 식사 혹은 디저트'이다.    1-2. ZIGI의 미래  - 현재 천국의 알바 모집페이지에서 공개된 자료에 의하면  천국의 알바에 모집된 인원은 ZIGI의 디자인적 측면에서  -홍보 팜플렛, 한국어 메뉴판, 색다른 와인 라벨링과 같은 아이템을 받아들일 준비를 하고 있다.    3. 홍보의 원칙  개인적으로 생각하는 홍보의 원칙이 있다.  아무리 색다르고 톡톡튀는 아이더을 자랑하는 홍보라도 기존 기업에서 사용하는 이미지와 상반되거나  극렬히 다른 이미지를 사용해선 안된다.   그리고 기업에서 홍보를 위해 비용 투자를 생각하고 있는 아이템이 있다면  해당 아이템에 들인 비용으로 최대의 효과를 낼 홍보 비책을 생각해본다.  라는 것이다.  그렇다면, 현재의 ZIGI의 아이디어와 동시에 미래 지향적인 아이템을 접목시키면 어떤 아이디어가 나올 수 있을까?     4. ZIGI를 위한 홍보  (1) 먼저 배경을 생각해본다.  천국의 알바 17기가 활동을 할 시기는 2월 초.  2월 초는 시기상 음력 설.  "Lunar new year / Chinese new year"의 시기와 맞물리는 시기라고 정의할 수 있다.  혹은 2월 14일의 'Valentine Day'와 접목을 시킬 수도 있겠다.  (2). 미래 지향적 아이템  앞서 설명한 천국의 알바를 통해 계획중인 아이템  이에는 홍보 팜플렛, 한국어 메뉴판, 색다른 와인 라벨링이 포함되어 있다.  (3). 현재의 아이템  현재 ZIGI는 소셜미디어를 통한 홍보를 진행하고 있다.  다만 이중에서 유튜브를 통한 동영상 홍보는 최근 업로드가 없다고 사려된다.    지금부터는 개인적으로 생각을 해볼 수 있는 '홍보 아이템'의 리스트를 적어본다.  1. 한국 출신의 워킹홀리데이 체류자, 학생비자 체류자를 ���겟으로 한다.  - 시드니에는 호주의 여타 다른 도시에 비해 한국인 체류자가 다수 거주하고 있다.  이들을 타겟으로 잡고 움직여도 큰 무리는 없을 것이다.   2. 시기를 이용하자.  - 시가상 음력 설. 한국인, 중국인 등을 타겟으로 하여 충분히 매출 상승을 도모해 볼 수 있는 시기다.   3. 아이템  -'천국의 알바 17기'의 활동을 통해 한국어 메뉴판, 홍보물이 제작된다.   4. 플랫폼  홍보의 플랫폼에는 소셜미디어를 활용한다.   -> 이를 통해 내가 내릴 수 있는 홍보 아이템은 다음과 같았다.    1. 이벤트성 홍보  ZIGI 레스토랑은 Lunar New Year를 맞이해 Orientalism과 Bar의 성격을 접목한 디자인,  이벤트 성 메뉴를 제공한다.   - > 디자인적 항목에는 한국어 메뉴, 한글을 활용한 VM (Visual Merchandising)을  생각해 볼 수 있다.    2. 소셜미디어를 활용한 이벤트 (시기성 이벤트)  Lunar New Year를 맞이해 주에 몇명 (ex. 5명)을 선정해 매장을 방문한 고객 중  매장의 Lunar New Year관련된 이미지를 촬영해 (VM, 시기성 메뉴 등)  인스타그램에 해시태그와 함께 포스팅한 고객에게  무료 와인 1잔 혹은 커스터마이징 라벨이 붙은 와인 1 병을 제공한다.  (기존의 고객의 충성도를 이용해 새 고객을 확보할 수 있는 수단이 된다.)    3. 소셜미디어를 활용한 이벤트 - 2  Lunar New Year를 맞이해 친구들에게 댓글로 해시태그를 하여 ZIGI Restaurant를 추천한  고객중 추첨을 통해 위와 동일하게  와인 1잔 혹은 커스터마이징 라벨이 있는 와인 1병을 제공한다.    3. 한국인을 대상으로 한 이벤트  소셜미디어 페이지 중 시드니에 머무는 한국인을 위한 페이지를 해시태그하여  ZIGI 레스토랑의 새 이벤트에 대한 홍보를 진행해보는 방법을 생각해본다.  이에는 위와 같은 매장홍보 포스팅과 이벤트를 포스팅하는 것과 더불어,  시드니에 거주하는 워홀러, 학생들의 사연을 모집하여  베스트 사연을 다시금 포스팅 - 천국의 알바 페이지 혹은 ZIGI Restaurant 페이스북 페이지  ZIGI Restaurant, 천국의 알바, 호주의 워홀러들의 일상을 알려주는 하나의 방법이 되어  이슈가 될 수 있다는 장점이 있다.     end) 홍보 아이디어를 생각하며.  앞서 설명했듯이 홍보에 있어 중요한 것은 새로운 아이디어도 있지만  기존의 홍보플랫폼에서 최대의 효과를 끌어내는 것이라고도 생각한다.  천국의 알바, ZIGI Restaurant의 협업을 통해  보다 생산적이고 창의적인 아이디어를 마련해 성공적인 결과물을 만들어 내고 싶다.  특히, 위의 작업들은 현재의 플랫폼과 예상 가능한 변수만을 고려해 나타낸 결과물인만큼  실제로 진행을 했을때는 다른 변수 혹은 아이디어가 발현될 수 있다고 생각한다.  팀원들, 현지 반응 등을 조사해서 몇 단계 더 앞선 홍보 전략과 더불어  사람들을 정말로 ZIGI Restaurant로 끌어당길 수 있는 필요를 느끼게 할 수 있는 전략을 생각해내고 싶다.

A realization and advance thanks to traveling with friends

“A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.” – Tim Cahill. At the first time, I saw this quote, I came up with the travel that I experienced last summer. Thanks to this traveling, I could be a better person than before and realized the importance of the trip with the person that I know. In fact, I disliked traveling with friends, but I always feel better when I travel alone. 

 However, I could have a chance to visit a foreign country for volunteering with the team consist of 20 people including me. It was fresh to me because it had been passed more than 5 years since I traveled with someone else. As a team member, I had to prepare the stuff and the project before we depart for around 3 months. I could know about my team members and I could learn some lessons from them during that time and in the traveling, of course.

 In fact, thanks to the period stayed alone lasted quite for a long time, I became a little single-minded person. That made me drive to the depressed road.  Furthermore, I couldn't adapt to my new circumstances after coming back to South Korea. I stayed alone and reserved for other people. 

 But my teammates made me wake up. For example, one of the teammates always do his best with a smile and interact with the people. Another teammate is punctual and the solid plan for her career. Even though they are younger than me, I could learn many things from them. Whenever I talked to them more and more, I could feel I recovered my positive mind more and more. 

 Furthermore, I stepped forward in my life thanks to my valuable friends. I decided to become an active and punctual person. Now, I have to schedule my time to manage my various schedule. Despite the shortage of sleep, I'm satisfied with my changed life. In addition to, I feel appreciation to the teammates. If I hadn't met them during this traveling, I might be still at the time of depression and darkness.

Travel in my life

Last May, I was on the street of Singapore for touring. I had waited for escaping from my routine life for a long time. I was exhausted from my work in the office. But from the trips abroad made feel alive. I’d like to post some pictures of the cities that I had visited before. Or I’m gonna post some information about the cities that I want to visit later. I just hope that will help me refreshing myself and the visitors to my blogs.
