BIG C Assignment

ORDER : (MOST CONCERNING TO LEAST CONCERNING)

1. We will use up all of our natural resources

2. Temperature will go up by 6%

3. Industries are fouling up the atmosphere

4. Starvation is still a problem

5. We need to get rid of nuclear waste

6. Species of animals are dying out

The reason why losing all of our natural resources are the most threatening thing on the list for us, is because losing our resources would fundamentally change the entire globe and the entire economy. One of the most worrying is the depletion of our fossil fuels

Without fossil fuels, we will struggle to supply electricity to our homes, we would have to change the way we use our cars, and the global economy would go into a standstill, because without fossil fuels, there would be no feasible way to power our ships to deliver goods across the sea, and there would be no more imports and exports for each country, and countries relying on shipping and imports, like Singapore, would collapse. Also, there would be no way to power our flights, so people would have to resort to using old ships with sails to go from Batam to Jakarta, Hong Kong to Los Angeles, etc.

The reason that the depletion of our natural resources is the most worrying out of all of them is because it is impossible to adapt, with our ever-growing reliance on using fossil fuels, from transportation to even powering electricity, other, more natural alternatives like biogas and wind power are not efficient enough to support our entire population.
