Feels increeedibly surreal seeing the Scraptrap figurine concept art pop up on the showcase section of the YouTooz Community page. I guess it makes sense, since it’s already at 122 votes atm.

But just… seeing this guy get some attention at all is something I still need to get used to— Even if it’s a fan design that might become official one day.

…I want to do something if it reaches 200 votes, but that milestone might take a bit longer now. The problem is I’ve got this headcanon-y description for how Scraptrap might sound if he ever sang, and I can’t get it out of my head. Maybe that’ll be the “reward”, if anyone wants it?

..I mean, I kinda figured because of the whole FNAF 6 collection coming eventually? Kinda interesting that it’s not the same artist, though. I guess there were two fan artists who thought it’d be good to try sketching their own Scraptrap merch ideas before YouTooz makes the actual concept art.

To be clear as to why I’m not as hyped as you’d expect: This is YouTooz Community concept art, so the likelihood of getting this getting an actual depends on how many people want it. Kind of like one of the “help design our next product” contests you’d see on occasion— But the judges are the people who visit the website.

(…Unless this is an official artist and this is just a test run. I’ll need to double-check after posting this and come back with an edit.)

Edit: Waaait. Hang on. This might be either an official artist or someone whose artwork was used as a reference for a YouTooz figure as an artist collab.

So maybe get the hype train going if this gets some votes.

The only reason I’m not making this a separate post is that I’m still working on the other post to celebrate this whole turn of events. (I guess I really should just not rush myself and just not say anything else until it’s ready, huh?)

Uhhh… The “real quick” is turning into “hopefully by tomorrow” because I really want to polish this. (Even though it’s mostly rough sketches cleaned up and maybe some shading atm.)

Nightmare Before Christmas (but FNAF) AU Art: “The Hench-Ghosts In Discussion..”

Looks like the three Hench-Ghosts are trying to figure out how to introduce themselves to curious folks from the Other Realm. Do they leave their hats on or off? Do they go by “Dread, Angst, and Terror” or by “Hat, Hair, and Bow-tie”? Do they explain that they were possibly ghosts who never got robotic forms or do they keep quiet about it? And, most important of all: do they play a trick or do they give out a treat?

At long last, here’s a concept piece for the Lock, Shock, and Barrel equivalents for the AU. I’m not set on their names yet, but I finally know who’s who. That’s been driving me crazy for months lol.

“Happy” 2nd anniversary to the time when I thought Scraptrap was going to really get some merch.

…I guess those coloring pages (and that one T-shirt cameo) are all he’ll get. A shame, but it is what it is at this point.

Minor (?) Spoilers for FNAF at HHN, buuut..

Good news: Spring-bonnie/Yellow Rabbit showed up after all! Him being included on a couple of the merch items was actually a teaser.

“Bad” News: He did not have voice lines, from what I can tell. However, this could be because this is a teaser for Springtrap (who is voiceless in FNAF 3)

Other things I noticed. The ghost versions of the MCI kids are kinda included in this attraction. I think it’s just scare actors dressed up as the kids, but it’s interesting that they’re included at all. Especially with the lore surrounding this year’s HHN (which I need to get to posting about smh).

Also, it looks like Vanny isn’t here. I guess that tracks, since Vanessa isn’t a ghost or anything. It almost feels like the house/“restaurant” is stuck in a time loop here, trapped in a UCN-like state of chaos. Forever replaying the restaurant’s final week until the conservatory is destroyed… In the lore of this HHN, at least. Interpretations may vary.

I’m trying to read the HHN map that’s online, and it looks like the FNAF house is closest to the Origins of Horror scare zone.

Considering the graveyard setting it has, it does make a decent amount of sense… But oh was I hoping for it to be next to the Masquarade section just for the opportunity to draw the animatronics watching the dancers from a window. The sheer juxtaposition would’ve been magical to me.

..At least the FNAF restaurant seems to be near an ice cream place. I guess I can sketch Circus Baby stopping by to scope out the “competition” lol.

Skeet sounds so much like Henry from the games, it’s wild to me. Like he could actually pass for a younger Henry, voice-wise.

Also interesting that they had to workshop the look of the character for a couple of days. I wonder what that means for how “Henry”/his character’s going to look…?
