woooooo!!! managed to snag a furb for pretty cheap!!!!! it’s the pink and yellow baby furby but because the colours are so light i’m hoping it might take dye well? or i could use the fur as a pattern and buy new fabric? either way i’m stoked about this!! :D

is it just me or have furb prices on ebay skyrocketed? i stayed off ebay for a while so i wouldn’t impulsively buy every furby i see but i’ve been checking it again recently and the prices are so so bad!!!!! i just want to find a purple furb so i have a full rainbow but every one i see is so expensive :[

getting desperate tbh. current plan is to try to grab whatever looks even somewhat salvageable and hope i haven’t bitten off more than i can chew. might look around irl as well cause i really want a purple furby and am fully prepared to take on a custom furb project if necessary dbbkssjsgjv

he is waiting to be skinned, and washed, because we are in the middle of a pandemic.

so... ponk's eyelashes fell off yesterday. I kinda saw this coming, one of her eyelashes had been kind of hanging there since I found her... so naturally I reskinned her and took off her shell in an attempt to put them back on.

unfortunately, she doesn't work, and I couldn't get a black bit of plastic out of the way to access a very important screw due to this. (I tried for about 30 minutes.) so I put her back together, and decided to glue of false eyelashes! you can see a lil glue glob, but I want to paint her eyelids eventually anyway so hopefully it won't be too noticeable.

I'm really happy with how the eyelashes came out (at least on the left side) :D

so I washed Ponk, at long last!

I was very nervous about the colour leaking but we were fine

I got a friend! They're coming sometime next week!!! I am really excited!!! I'm hoping that if it isn't fixable I can plushify them. And, if I can get my hands on the materials, longify them!

We went out and tried to take pictures. Our goal? To make Ponk feel like the local cryptid again. Did it work? We're not sure.

We could only take a few before we had to go with the lockdown and everything. This is probably one of the best of the bunch (the bunch being 3 photos).
