Currently, I'm diving into the Matthew Corbett series by Robert McCammon. I realized that I'm comparing it to my favorite fanfiction as a compliment lol Anyways, I'm obsessed with the main character and feel like I want an anime with him. He has such dramatic vibes! my ATLA au where Aang was told he was the avatar at 16, after the war has already begun, gets frozen in ice, Ozai ascends to Phoenix King, succeeds in his plan to take over the world, The Blue Spirit joins Aang first (identity still 'concealed', although Aang is 89% sure he knows who he is after a while), and now Aang must save what's left of the world.

It's far more fleshed out in my head and in my notes app, but I don't want to bore people with the small details until I can draw them out.
