When the elevator starts to ascend, Off turns to lean against the wall. He gets one look at Gun and Dew across from him and his jaw goes slack. In that brief moment Off had his back turned to press the button, Gun wrapped his arms around Dew’s torso and pulled him close. His face is nuzzling Dew’s chest and Dew’s fingers slip through Gun’s hair.

“Wow,” Off says, unable to help himself. “You two…you look incredible together.”

“Hnnng Papii, stop,” Gun whines shyly. He buries his face further into Dew, trying to hide. Off can still see Gun’s ears though. They are just as flushed as Dew’s face.

Oh, Off already knows he’s going to love this.

Fanfic Friday

(...just a snippet of what I'm working on) *

The party is in full swing by the time Todd and Black arrive. It’s a posh place—a mini mansion. Black hates being reminded of their social privilege, but teens like them can’t really argue against lavish parties with free booze. They cross over the threshold into the entrance hall, noticing one archway leading to the living area where people are crammed together and grinding to whatever crap is playing on the surround sound speakers. The other side of the hall has a grand staircase leading up to the second level, with couples making out against the banister. Neither of these choices are appealing to Todd, so he randomly walks over to an unmarked door and breathes a sigh of relief as he finds a considerably less crowded hall leading into a kitchen.

“I’m going to get something to drink. Too sober for this shit,” Todd says to Black. “You coming?”

His best friend isn’t even paying attention to him. Todd hates how frequent this behavior has been lately. Todd clears his throat, leaning into Black’s space. He repeats the question in Black’s ear. Black’s eyes are searching the sea of people that are dancing.

“Nah,” he finally answers. “I have to find Ella.”

Ella.

Even her name falling from Black’s lips makes Todd sick with jealousy. He has to get out of there before he says something stupid. Todd nods his head, swallowing down the festering feeling within his chest. He needs a drink. Now.

A gift for OffGun

Am I crazy? Yes, yes I am. I'm sending a package to OffGun. This has been something I've been thinking about for maybe a year now. I work for a sticker company. Some of the things we make are really cute. Think: hello kitty vibes. So I thought they might like them. IDK. I've had their address at GMMTV for awhile now. But today is the day. I've packed up all their things and included a card. Do I realize they'll probably just stick it in their mountain of other gifts? Yes. Am I ok with that? Yes. But if it even makes them smile once, it'll be worth it to send it to them. I want them to know their shine is far reaching. I want them to know they have fans here. I just want them to know I appreciate them. I guess it's kinda sad but whatever. I get it why people send their idols gifts. You just want to give back a little joy for all the joy they've brought you. And for that reason, I don't think it's such a sad thing after all.

The Trainee and my final thoughts

Although the acting and cinematography was beautiful within this show, the writing and directing choices truly let me down. This show had so much potential. It was shaping up to be my favorite OffGun show. And then that drastically changed as OffGun were pushed aside in their own show.

I think the writers forgot who was supposed to be the main character within their own story. This wasn't called "The Trainees" it was "The Trainee." Ryan was the central focus since the very beginning, and I expected that throughout its entirety. There is nothing more frustrating than getting attached to a character and their story and then being starved of it in the second half of the series. I was just hoping and praying the next episode will have more of him.

And the story they decided to focus on instead? Garbage.

Yes, I get it. That could be someone's real life experience right there. Exploring queerness and only ever knowing your high school sweetheart. But we didn't need all that alongside Ryan and Jane's story. Or if we did need to show it, their romance could have been more off screen. Maybe Ryan could have heard about Judy and Bahmee going out for noodles and getting cozy.

But instead, Ryan's romance goes offscreen. Ryan and Jane were on the phone for over an hour? Um hello? Where was that? Jane asking Ryan to dinner again? What I would give to see another date scene for them! Or even more of an in depth conversation about Ryan and this being his first love. Or hell, even more of the Nine flashback. Those two were exes? Where was the romance? It wasn't there, but you know what was there? That fucking love triangle that did nothing but frustrate me.

Bahmee and Tae are not likeable characters. I honestly did not care any more about them. They are horrible and deserve each other. Let's move the fuck on.

Writers: a tip. Don't lose focus on your main character and waste so much time on other characters that aren't even liked. If their story can be cut, it should. Trim that fat and go back to your main character. I'm begging.

Things I would have changed:

Bahmee and Tae not getting back together. Stay single. Grow the hell up. Learn to be independent adults first.

Jane and the ghosting? What the actual fuck. This coming from the man who always told Ryan to "talk to him and tell him what's wrong"? Nah. I don't believe it. Don't ruin a character all for the sake of a dramatic 5 year reunion at the end.

Brave Ryan. This was my favorite thing about Ryan. He confessed his feelings for his superior. We could have seen more of that bravery. I would have loved to see Ryan push it further and actually pursue his mentor. Making Jane pull back and scold him for flirting with him at work! This back and forth would have been amazing!

A more proper goodbye. If that kiss in the car was their goodbye kiss, I wanted it more explicitly stated that they were breaking up. That they couldn't do long distance. Just more communication! And yeah...if they wanted to take things back to Jane's place because that was his last night there, I would not have complained at all. Jane is a fully grown man ffs. I don't believe for a second they didn't fuck that night.

A domestic slice of life ending. They went house hunting? Why the hell didn't we see it?

Honestly, why the hell was so much of this romance off screen? I came here for OffGun, and I feel like all I got was bare minimum. Sigh. Maybe their next show will be better than this. All I can do is hope.

Not Fair

It’s no secret that Off has been working out. He shares gym selfies and Gun talks about it at press interviews. It’s Gun’s way of showing support. He is proud of the work his partner has put in.

Ok, yeah. Gun also jokes about the six pack abs that he hopes to see. But in the end, Gun just wants to see Papii take care of himself. Gun wants Papii to live a long, healthy, and flourishing life.

So this shouldn’t come as a surprise to Gun.

But it has.

The way Off looks tonight has Gun completely stunned.

They are at Off’s condo, discussing their outfits for the next fashion event. They are going to walk the red carpet and later Off will be on the catwalk. They discussed their couple's clothes and now Off appears out of his bedroom a second time, wearing the runway look.

Gun’s breath catches, his heart trips over itself in his chest, and he has to refrain from reaching and outright grabbing.

The man is wearing a simple outfit. It’s only jeans and a turtleneck, accompanied with boots and a leather jacket. But it’s the fit that drives Gun into a…fit.

Of course, that’s when Off turns and reveals the back half of his outfit.

Gun loses all sense of control. A needy whine spills from his lips and before he knows it, he’s closing in on Off from behind. One hand immediately snakes around Off’s torso, fingers splaying over the skin tight material hugging the man’s stomach. Gun feels Off’s firmer muscles beneath his hand—no longer the soft belly Gun’s used to pinching.

Gun’s other hand has its own mission. It goes right for the tear in Off’s jeans, right underneath the man’s ass. Gun’s fingers slip in the rip, touching the soft skin of the back of Off’s thigh.

“What the fuck is this?” Gun groans against his back.

“What…ahhh, is everything ok?” Off asks with a hint of concern.

“Not fair,” Gun mumbles. The buttery smooth leather jacket rubs against his cheek as he nuzzles him.

“I know,” Off murmurs. “You should be on the runway too.”

Gun sighs and shakes his head. “No…that’s not…I’m not talking about that.”

“What’s not fair then?” Off asks. He lifts his hand and places it right over Gun’s on his belly, stroking his fingers.

“It’s not fair,” Gun says softly. “What you still do to me after all these years.” Then he presses closer, gently rocking his hips against the back of Off’s legs.

Gun knows Off feels his desire by the breathy sigh he hears followed by the tightened grip on Gun’s hand. Off says one word, but the message is clear.

“Stay.”

New blog launch ✨

I'm on an exciting new journey! For those that don't know, I started 2024 with a paper planner to track daily content of OffGun. What I quickly found out is that these guys are always busy! There is always some new image or video released. I just loved seeing something new each day. The only downside to this is when I got busy in my own life. I started to fall behind with collecting the images, printing them out, writing a tidbit about them and making it look pretty with stickers. So I've decided to cut out some time. I'm going digital! @offgundaily will be my new blog showing all this content! I had been picking one/two images of OffGun, Off and/or Gun for each day. I will continue to do so, but now it'll be all online. What I hope to create is an archive we can all look back on for each day. 💚
