Back with another 4t2 convertion~ This one is the Ruby Overalls from the The Koselig Collection made by @oakiyo , and it was a request from my patreon page.
This mesh is using the EP11 Boots Hiking converted by @julietoon and maxis hands.

Note that all the colors where not converted, the original set has around 90 colors, and 30 were convert, I fixed has well the original textures where the saturation/tone was not matching the top/bottom.

🌻 4t2 Miiko Lace and Laceless Jeans 🌻
Hello again my sweeties! 🌼
Back with another 4t2 convertion from my favorite cc creator @miikocc ❤️ The lace/laceless jeans
On the original cc the lace and lacess jeans are two separated meshes but thanks to @paluding tatooer tutorial knowledge I gained a few months back (I will always be thankfull for your tutorial!) I was able to merge into 1 😄
The jeans are using these sneakers that I snatched by @pforestsims (they were originaly converted by @itsdiamondeyesuniverse and @mdpthatsme but he/she combined the sneakers and the socks)
Please do take note since the jeans go over the bottom AF body limit there might be some cliping issues ( I tested them but they usually are only noticable in certain poses, but with long tops you wont even notice it) , they are compatible with maxis body waist~

💎 4t2 Lindy Dress by Belaloallure 💎
Hello again my sweeties! ❤️
Back with another 4t2 convertion~ This one is the Lindy Dress made by @belaloallure3 , and it was a request from my patreon page.
And has always the mesh was converted using @e-neillan bodyshape has reference, using maxis match hands and these heels from this post by @pforestsims (they are by Lina but forest fixed the uv map to match better the toes) The shoes are using a shiny map applied on it to make them look a little bit more shiny gold, and I'm using this shader edit by @crispsandkerosene I already included the shader file in the download (It's inside the folder called "Shader_Edit") but if you already have that fix in your game please ignore it! Without that shader the shoes shine effect will look a little diferent.

PolyCount: 15045 (including body) - This one is a little bit more heavy on polycount but the topology looked great! (I do might try to lower it a little more in the future if it doesnt affect the quality of the texture)

Tutorial/Explanation - Omg why my some vertices on my morphs are going crazy?! 💀
So for the past few weeks I've encountered this problem with a mesh I am converting, and instead of redoing everything I decided to dig into the problem, and wanted to share with you guys. Thanks to this post on MTS and simmer22 (THANK YOU) I was able to find out.
I'm sure many new creators for TS2 have encounted this problem:

And after close inspection somehow the vertices seemed to go oposite directions, even though after triple checking the bone weights were perfectly fine.

Why is it happening? it's more "simple" than you think and I'm gonna explain why. In your mesh each vertex is assigned a number, for example "vertex n°1, vertex n°2, etc." has I'm showing in the image bellow. How do you know the number of them? You go to Vertex > "Extended manual Edit" and it will show you all the information of each vertex (depending on what you select, it can show you their position, the position of them in the UV map, normals, bones, but we are just gonna focus on the vertex number which is the the ones I highlighted)

So when you duplicate your mesh to create your morphs, the vertices numbers on your morphs will have the exact same matching numbers, for example on the image bellow you can see the top front vertices from the normal morph and the fat morph have the exact same number (same happens with the pregnant morph has well)

And what this number does is when the fat morph is applied to a sim it basically says "oh I need to run to my partner location!" , so for example the vertex n°1 from the normal morph will move to the location of the vertex n°1 from the fat morph (I hope that makes sense haha) And what happens if they don't match? Exactly what you saw in the frist image, since they don't match they travel oposite directions or whenever the other matching number vertex is located, in my example the matching vertices are on oposite sides so when you test the mesh on a "fat" body you see the bug effect.

"How do I fix their numbers? can I just edit it in the Extended Manual??" It's not possible.. unfortunatly you will have to duplicate again the mesh and redo all the morphs (or just one of them, if only one is bugging) How can you prevent that from happening? NEVER edit your morphs!! (the only safe thing you can edit in your morphs is the UV map, since the fat and preg morph stretch a bit and sometimes you want to adjust the texture) but if you edit the morph merging vertices, etc, you can change accidentaly it's assigned number and you will have to redo everything.. 😐
I hope I helped anyone who faced this problem and didn't know the problem, do take note I am no expert and I'm still learning everyday has well. 😊
Small note: Don't forget to weld together your mesh before making the morphs! This will get rid of any extra vertices in the same position (it's like the merge by distance from Blender)

Hi! I'm curious... How much time do you spend making an outfit for The Sims 2?
Hello sweetie~ Good question, it really depends, the more details/frills in the mesh takes a bit longer to make sure the bones are correct. Sometimes you can run into obstacles and want to simplify stuff and makes the process longer, for example I already converted some jeans from miiko but she used 2 diferent meshes for the lace version but I only wanted 1 mesh, so I wanted to bake the lace texture into the normal one, and that took me a whole day until I realized I could just look into the settings from the "The Tattooer!" files by @paluding and do the same baking process but with the jeans meshes 🙃 This just to explains sometimes you complicate what doesn't need to be and you take even longer hahaha and of course my avaiability and mood has well hahaha since I only do it has a hobby 😊so it can be weeks or months 🤣

A question to sims creators~
Just to kill my curiosity 😆
I remember noticing this a couple of months ago but I completely forgot about it, the original maxis body mesh they have a diferent bone color near the pelvis called "shorts" but on new meshes and even old tutorials you never see them using them or mentioning it, do they just do the same job has the "thigh" bones and are useless? (I did try googling it but found nothing)
