MONTHLY FAVORITES: February 2015 [#POPfaves]

Hello March! To welcome in the new month, I must say goodbye to February. Last month, I discovered a new shop called Threads America, organized my bathroom counter, broke in my worn out boots, added new items to my makeup bag and got my “foodie” on!

Of my 8 favorites for February, the necklace I found is by far favorite. One day, while trolling through Instagram, I came across a post about a local popup party for Threads America. There’s a flagship store here in the Atlanta area, and it’s in a great little shopping district. I looked around for a while, because the store has a cool bohemian vibe. There was this beautiful necklace that was originally $32.98, but I got it on sale for only $9.99! I call that a great find.

This was truly a month of love.

HAVE CINCO DE MAYO EVERYDAY WITH HOMEMADE SALSA

I love Moe’s salsa so much, that I learned to make my very own version! In this video, you'll get a taste of how I view life. Being on a budget doesn't mean I have to sacrifice the "foodie" in me. Making my favorite restaurant foods at home has become my new normal. If I go out to eat and really enjoy a meal, I make it my mission to learn the recipe. This way I can save money and have it as often as I like!

SH*T LITTLE FASHION GIRLS SAY

I was in stitches laughing at this video. I honesty don't think it'll ever get "unfunny" to me. Little PrincessTard (YouTube: The ShayTards) is killing this role! She did such a great job and of course P’Trique (YouTube: The Platform) was great too, as always!

Sometimes people take fashion so serious, that they lose the creativity and spark. Having this cheeky little nugget floating around the internet is exactly what fashion divas need. It's a throwback to the days of childhood dress up.

My favorite line was "My babysitter said she’d crimp my hair!"
