Home, washed (she was caked in mud), and fast asleep 5 seconds later. The dog hotel was exhausting!

We're picking Poppy up after 8 days in a doggy hotel, today! She looks really happy in all the pictures they sent us during the week. She had a room mate and she loves other dogs, so I wasn't too worried ... I really hope she had a good time and behaved on walks. ♥️

Wicked smart bastard siberian mix 🤦

We set her free in a new yard with exciting things like snow and new smells after a long car ride and in under two minutes she made her way to the gate and flipped the latch with her nose. She didn't open it, but she definitely knows how and probably only stopped because of how quickly our heads whipped around when we heard the rattle.

She's never seen this style of latch before. Though, she has opened another style of flip-up latches on chain link fences, but the last time she was around one of those was summer 2019.

My dog sure can generalize, but only for evil.
