The Young Deer 🦌 Animal Guide & Mrigashira Nakshatra

Young deer commonly known as fawns are the ethereal animals in the spotlight for this intuitive exploration.

Young deer are the embodiment of strength found in sensitivity and curiosity in the earthly realm. The deep wisdom found in vulnerability.

These seemingly fragile creatures stand tall on their own four legs in this world as soon as gravity tries to pull them down. Hyper sensitive to their surroundings and innately capable to sense any subtle shifts in energy. Connection to both earth and higher consciousness runs deeply. It seems as if the senses can reach beyond what is tangible to the touch or visible to the eyes. All for protection and survival. With a shift of perspective, survival of the fittest becomes survival of the most attuned or sensitive.

Fawns teach us with their delicate existence that strength can be found in the most unlike and invisible places within ourselves. The lesson lies in realising how powerful one can be by allowing oneself to be vulnerable, letting emotional expression flow and through the acknowledgement of what the heart craves…

Fawns have this curious disposition like a little fire within their hearts. It leads them to follow their hearts and instincts. It gifts them this all-encompassing love for life.

Often times the heart wants what it wants and nothing can be done to change that fate. Following heart-centred instincts can often lead to unexpected twists and turns on the path of life that may not make sense to the logical mind. A solution can emerge from bringing together the mind, heart and spirit. 

The image that flashes through the mind is a small deer at crossroads.

Why does one road calls it´s name so intensely ? It can only find out if it follows the winding of that long road.

The deer can follow you by your heavenly side wherever your feet and heart may lead you as it is familiar with the vastness of Mother Earth.

While it may look, at first sight, as if fawns are merely vulnerable and defenceless beings there is so much more depth to the energetics of this animal...

Deers in general but especially baby deer seem to possess a glow of innocence that lingers around them and never fades away.

This may be due to the dynamics they find themselves within in nature as the prey instead of the hunter.

Gentleness and grace exists at the core of their spirit and it carries them far in life.

Fawns can keep one company, as an animal guide, in times of overwhelming emotions as they know the intensity of the heart and surviving when a heart aches or overflows.

All the radiant gracefulness they possess can help one to create harmony again within the heart.

Their energy can be a comfort to those experiencing big changes or newfound clarity on any mother figure, the inner mother, the divine mother or mother earth due to their deep running need to love and to be loved. The heart of a fawn and it´s energy centre is in constant flow of gifting and receiving love. Like a spiral it spins and twirls.

Intuitively it feels like the energy of baby deer is tethered to the heart chakra and can assist one to open or heal the fourth energy centre…

Deer antlers represent the perpetual circle of birth, death and rebirth that encompasses all life essence.

The absence of this symbol creates space for gentle growth. This in-between time allows for lessons to unfold and mistakes to be made. The passing of time invokes knowing and understanding of the circle of life.

There is an unfamiliarity with the truths of existence in this stage that pushes the fawn as well as oneself to leave all energetic or physical nests.

Consciousness is still growing roots to eventually come into full bloom.

The fawn is a child of this earth and it´s body is where the earth meets the divine.
