She picked up her brush, the bristles gently detangling her blow-dried blonde locks.

It made her think.

Ever since she came to Neo Tokyo, she tried her damnedest to convey that she was the cousin of Eiji Todoroki.

But, she never felt right.

It wasn’t because of the stark differences in their personalities.

It wasn’t the way they rose to their wealth either, nor was it the different ways they were raised.

Hime was so lost in thought that she didn’t hear the door open.

“Hmph! True nobles have no need to knock!”

“I was about to take a dip in the bath. Nobles such as us must always stay fresh, you know.”

Eiji watched his cousin with a curious expression.

Hime gestured to herself.

Eiji immediately stopped. Sure, Hime was always hard on him, but she was being serious.

As her cousin, he could tell.

“Are you talking about your childhood in Paris?”

Hime nodded.

“I know you respect me for how much I’m worth. But human to human…”

She looked up at him.

“What do you think?”

Eiji’s brows furrowed.

“Well, I think I would’ve killed to have your privilege. Growing up in Paris, being the heiress to such wealth since birth… You had everything handed to you on a golden platter.”

“That’s the thing, Eiji. I don’t want to be better than everyone else. I don’t want to push other people down. I want to bring them up, put them alongside me and rise together.”

“Hmph… So that’s why you never carried out any of your threats…”

“Of course that’s why! No matter what, we’re still family.”

Eiji stopped.

“That’s possibly the kindest thing you said all week… Hmph. Well, I answered your question.”

Hime giggled.

“A deal is a deal. Here.”

She handed him the bottle.

“Use all of it, and you’ll be the one replacing it. Those aren’t cheap in the slightest.”

“Hmph! I could buy 20 of these without breaking the bank!”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Get out of my room!”

Eiji took the bottle and ran before slamming the door behind him.

Hime turned back to her reflection.

🎀 a strictly OjiHime based AU that takes place after chapter 3 of the game (with some plot changes).

⛓️ after the fight with the U-DX Robot, Hime manages to successfully find Ojiro in time to get him some medical care, and they luck out since it saves his life.

🎀 the couple then make the decision to stay in Neo Chiyoda City and get married, becoming king and queen. the pair do everything in their power to right all of Ojiro's previous wrongs together, and are still in constant contact with Trash Tribe. they are their biggest allies.

⛓️ Ojiro still rules with an iron fist, but this time he has his lovely wife by his side. the pair rule together with strength and kindness intertwined.

🎀 Hime used quite a bit of her funds to aid the restoration and renovation of Chiyoda Castle. It was kept rather similar to before.
