3oh!3′s lyric “so tell your boyfriend if he says he’s got beef, that i’m a vegetarian and i ain’t fucking scared of him” is better than 21 pilots’ entire discography
#I love 21p#but like that line#is so golden and untouchable#it's better than MOST entire discographies tbh

23 Emotions people feel, but can’t explain

Opia: The ambiguous intensity of Looking someone in the eye, which can feel simultaneously invasive and vulnerable.

Vellichor: The strange wistfulness of used bookshops.
Rubatosis: The unsettling awareness of your own heartbeat.
Kenopsia: The eerie, forlorn atmosphere of a place that is usually bustling with people but is now abandoned and quiet.
Mauerbauertraurigkeit: The inexplicable urge to push people away, even close friends who you really like.
Jouska: A hypothetical conversation that you compulsively play out in your head.
Chrysalism: The amniotic tranquility of being indoors during a thunderstorm.
Vemödalen: The frustration of photographic something amazing when thousands of identical photos already exist.
Anecdoche: A conversation in which everyone is talking, but nobody is listening
Ellipsism: A sadness that you’ll never be able to know how history will turn out.
Kuebiko: A state of exhaustion inspired by acts of senseless violence.

Exulansis: The tendency to give up trying to talk about an experience because people are unable to relate to it.
Adronitis: Frustration with how long it takes to get to know someone.
Rückkehrunruhe: The feeling of returning home after an immersive trip only to find it fading rapidly from your awareness.
Nodus Tollens: The realization that the plot of your life doesn’t make sense to you anymore.
Onism: The frustration of being stuck in just one body, that inhabits only one place at a time.
Liberosis: The desire to care less about things.
Altschmerz: Weariness with the same old issues that you’ve always had – the same boring flaws and anxieties that you’ve been gnawing on for years.
Occhiolism: The awareness of the smallness of your perspective.

my favourite thing is when aphobes try to tell me that their aphobia doesn’t apply to me / affect me because “[i’m] queer for other reasons” (actual quote from a sga discourser).
because they think that my aceness surely must be an unimportant and forgettable - and sacrificable - part of my identity just because i’m also bi and trans. let me tell you: it’s fucking not. your aphobia affects me just as much as it affects cis and hetero a-spec people.
so please stop claiming to care about “”LGBT+ aces””. because you don’t. you’re actively doing everything you can to make the community unsafe for us.

Possible 19% swing in Hillary Clinton’s favor happened in Chicago that may have not only lost Chicago, but the entire state of Illinois for Bernie Sanders after it was discovered that State Board of Elections Auditors were witnessed changing votes to match reported Primary night totals.
Starts around the 24 minute mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSNTauWPkTc&feature=youtu.be&t=24m37s
Nevada, New York, and now Illinois, state after state is running into potential tampering in Clinton’s favor.

Ok so I understand the sentiment behind the whole “if someone wants you to be with them 24/7 then it’s abusive!!!!1!!!11!!!” but there needs to be a boundary when speaking about that because otherwise it sounds like you live in a neurotypical world where these behaviors can be considered deliberate and therefore can easily be characterized as abusive.
Take this: If someone purposefully manipulates you–whether they have good intentions or bad intentions–by saying that you’re not truly a friend because you couldn’t answer the text they sent at 3 AM while you were sleeping or maybe even tending to some crucial event, then yes, that IS an abusive tendency.
But here’s another scenario people love to lump in with the first one: someone with DPD/BPD legitimately undergoes a panic attack because their depended/favorite person does not reply to a text. They start over texting in response, and it’s palpable that they’re not reacting well to your lack of response. However, their panic is not about you or wanting to manipulate you; it’s merely an effect of having DPD/BPD. If you’re bothered by it, you can choose to let them know or not let them know and somehow work it out between the two of you–but in no way is their behavior abusive unless they deliberately attack you or direct negative response towards you.
Our suffering is not meant to manipulate you. When we feel legitimately panicked or suicidal because of our constant war with our mental illness, stop making it seem that it’s because we want to trap you or ensnare you via some elaborate scheme. Stop making this about yourself. Our struggle is ours.
Thanks.
#Hello yes#and I will always be worried I'm annoying you and message accordingly#but also#I say I need that kind of attention because I actually literally feel it a requirement due to this bullshit#BPD#bi polar

Conversation
me, talking about gay people in history: people who we would define as gay, lesbian, or bisexual have always existed, but it is important to remember that different cultures in different time periods view ideas of gender and sexuality in different ways, so we should be careful not to project our concepts and terminology onto them and make sure not to make assumptions without evidence when talking about them academically
a homophobic historian: there's no way these important historical figures could ever have been gay
me: wow guess what i've changed my mind, all of my historical faves are gay now, time to go write a dissertation about how gay my faves were, excuse me as i publish 50 articles about my gay-ass faves

Conversation
student stereotypes
the "general step-mom": very organised, does things ASAP, constantly reminds you of the work you need to do, loves to say i told you so when your stupid ass keeps on postponing said homework until it's almost too late, also checks in to make sure that you managed on time. quote: "have you started on the homework yet?"
the "head-in-the-clouds genius": never knows what the fuck is going on, doesn't come to most classes, always has to get reminded about homework and deadlines (repeatedly for the same thing as well), always manages to pass all the exams with pretty high grades in the end. quote: "homework?????? what homework?????"
the "duty-bound procrastinator": knows exactly what the fuck is going on, does nothing about the things that need to be done, always finds something else to do instead, feels anxious for postponing all of it, does everything the last second and says it's never going to happen again (a lie). quote: "fuck, homework. i'll, uh, start right after i finish with this movie marathon."
