Ended up not going to see the Thursday Murder Club in the cinema, due to work/plans/the weather being just too nice to be sat on a train during a bank holiday, then in the cinema.
So now I'm patiently waiting until Thursday.

The Thursday Murder Club is in cinemas from today, and then on Netflix from Thursday.
I've been so excited about this for the past 4 or 5 years, since they first announced the book will be made into a film. Theres no cinemas directly near me that's showing it,but there is in the city I used to live in, which is close enough to justify me going there to see it at some point over the weekend.
I can't wait to finally see Helen Mirran as Elizabeth, as she was who I always envisioned in that role. Can't wait to see how the others play to my ideas of the characters. Pierse Brosnan was never who I would have put as Ron, but I'm willing to be surprised.
