sniff sniff would you ever consider drawing dom!rhea and sub!dominik

Here you go, Anon! Hope you like it!
I was inspired by when Rhea dressed up as Chyna, which reminded me of these matching outfits she wore with Miss Kitty (which certainly triggered something in teenage Thlayli's mind! 🥵)

HIYA! Just wanted to say that i've been following you for a while on insta and twitter and i just love your art! The flowy way in which you put your lines down and your composition choices have been an inspiration for me :] Im simply eating your art at any given chance C: Also, even if im not as much into the boys as i used to be a few years ago, seeing your fanart involving the show still activates that neuron in my brain that makes me wanna draw homelander again at least : ]] If i can pick any favourite fanarts from you, i gotta say that im in love with your doggy versions of the characters! I think they fit the characters really well and the way you use shapes in you character design only emphasises that. (overall seeing your animal versions of characters is super nice, finally someone who gets how fun assigning different animals to existing characters based on their looks and personalities is X] ) Have a good day/night yippie : D!
Thanks for sticking around !
Drawing human characters as animals is a habit I picked up as a kid ( while actively avoiding learning how to draw people . . . ) that I have yet to shed. I guess you can take the kid out of DeviantArt but you can't take the 'all-consuming urge to draw your favorite guy as a sparkledog' out of the kid.
I'm happy to hear that you like my characterizations, no matter how detached they are from their original counterparts •ﻌ•
You're very sweet.

How do you perceive Homelander's relationship with Ryan?
Oftentimes Homelander acts like a child towards his own pre-teen son, basically throwing tantrums, being jealous and pouty, etc... It's almost like he is Ryan's best buddy and not a "single father of one" lol
The whole ""merging as one"" thing completely fucked up my perception of their relationship, because in the end i was hoping it wouldn't all come down to Homelander seeing Ryan as an extension of himself and treating him like absolute shit, yet deep down all of us knew the truth 🥲
Though he's smartened up lately and realized that he's been a huge jerk...
(which he still is 😑😑)
By the way I'm a big fan of your art and love studying the composition, colors and everything!! Hope i get to hear your opinion on this someday ❤️
I perceive it as being 100% in line with the rest of his character. That is to say, I like it.
I like the fact that Homelander's stunted maturity bleeds into his parenting. It's like watching a child try to raise another child ; alarming and strange -- but there's an undeniable ( albeit very warped ) innocence to it.
It's no secret that Homelander tries to cram as much as he can into a single relationship at a time and I like that Ryan isn't exempt from this. Ryan is his son and his best buddy. It's fascinating to watch him walk this tightrope between wanting Ryan to see him as an indestructible pillar of strength while also demanding colossal amounts of emotional and mental support from him ( that of which another adult could only realistically provide to him )
I love the scene in season two where Homelander reveals the truth about his childhood to Ryan. The acting is superb - HL sneaking hesitant glances at Ryan like he's the child, fessing up to something shameful. Waiting for rejection.
TLDR ; I think parent-child enmeshment is a given for someone like Homelander. I have no notes. No complaints. I just want to see more.

I know you mostly love the Supes in the Boy’s (which same) but I gotta ask— what animals would the Boys be? Can’t stop thinking of Hughie as a giraffe lol
Hmmm . . .
Butcher - Billy Goat
Frenchie - Skunk
Kimiko - Tanuki
MM - Rottweiler
Hughie - Stag ( I like the idea of him having a similar enough silhouette to Butcher that he could mistake him for Lenny when he's soused )

i GOTTA know your thoughts on the Boys S4 so far
I'm . . . enjoying it. Like, really enjoying it? More than I thought would be possible after season three (nearly) demolished any and all enthusiasm I held towards it.
I'm especially loving the whole 'Pinky and the Brain' thing Sister Sage has going on with Homelander.
Sage herself is such a breath of fresh air. I find her extremely charming on her own but watching her maneuver Homelander is so entertaining. I can't remember the last time he had someone genuinely interesting to play off of. I've always said that my love for HL is so monumental that it eclipses every other character in the show (so much so that it prevents me from even *having* a second favorite character) but that has changed with Sage.
I'm not thrilled about the generous amount of screen time being allotted to Frenchie of all characters. Paying attention to storylines that have nothing to do with Homelander is already hard for me so sitting through the Frenchie Guilt Extravaganza is borderline painful.
I love everything going on with Ryan. It's no secret that child actors are reaaaally hit or miss, but this kid is knocking it out of the park every single time he's on screen. I'm so impressed that he can hold his own against Homelander in all of their shared scenes.
Starlight was losing me up until that one scene with Firecracker. Call it out of character, call it sloppy writing, but I think it adds another layer to her. Starlight had/has the ability to be a vindictive little beast? Noted.
I could write more but I'm going to be merciful and stop there. I'm tentatively optimistic that this season will be better than the last. Which. . . isn't actually that much of an accomplishment. The bar is low. The bar is on the floor.
With all of that being said, regardless of if the writing tailspins in the second half of S4 the same way it did in S3, I can die in peace with all of the good Homelander content I got out of those first three episodes. I can die in peace because I have ↓ THIS ↓

Homelander Cape Flip Compilation
A collection of every time Homelander flips his cape to the side before he sits down, from seasons 1-3 in "The Boys".
It's a fun little eccentricity of his that I like. The cape flip he does in the scene between him and Butcher is like, a blink and you'll miss it.
