The reason I thought this was bcuz...

Nonsensical ramble inkoming!!

So, Kennith has red hair, and Nancy has red hair, right? But Henry doesn't. So in theory Kennith couldn't have gotten red hair from them because the red hair gene is recessive But the inner genetics nerd in me says

"Hey wait! We've never seen Henry's dad!!"

So in that case, either Francis or Henry's father could have been carrying a dormant red hair allele (we'll represent that with lowercase r here, and represent black hair with an uppercase B) and that may look like this:

Francis: BB, Henry's dad: Br (or even rr, since one allele comes from each parent, so it doesn't matter too much if the dad is red haired bcuz it wouldn't pass down to Henry. But lets just say he has Br for simplicity)

Therefore have a shitty looking punnet square I made on ibis paint in two seconds:

As you can see: we have a 50% chance for Henry to get Br as his pattern, and if we say that he happens to have it, then he could have easily gotten the dormant red hair gene.

We can skip this whole ancestry step for Nancy since her and Kennith both have red hair, and we never see Nancy's parents anyways. So its clear that she has the rr makeup (since, if you recall. You need two recessive genes for them to appear physically, but you only need one dominant gene for that to manifest)
