-“Yesterday, I noticed that this committee weren’t so much in an agreement for the first resolution… why?”- Interviewer “-Mainly because the resolution A2 which wasn’t pass focused into giving power to poor countries in growing ways; for example augmenting the GDP per capital, for that the minimum wage for those countries would rise and finally as the topic was to stop and eradicate child labor the parents wouldn’t need the children to help them work because as the would have enough money the children would go to school.-” Interviewed “-And why weren’t the other countries agreeing with Resolution A2-” Interviewer “-Mainly because the countries were based on a financial help like a fund that would help the third world delegations e a nice education but what the delegations weren’t taken into account of is that most of those delegations, the family living there, don’t even have money to buy food so that way even if there are good schools, there would no students because there would be working to get food.-” Interviewed “-Okey so, with the resolution right now the delegations that were in Resolution A2, are 100% agreeing?-“ Interviewer “-Totally.-“ Interviewed “-Why-“ Interviewer “-Because we created an agreement in emerging between the two Resolutions in which keeping the idea of the world powers into give financial aid and raising the tariffs in agricultural countries [..]-” Interviewed By this I have the impression that all the delegations are in agreement of this resolution, even though then resolution haven’t been approved maybe this is going to be four the best for all the delegations. Derecho de los indígenas

Centro de noticias (ONU) 29/08/2018 La delegación de Estados Unidos mencionó que dentro del país se encuentran 58 grupos de tribus y sin embargo no han tenido problemas. Por otro lado la delegación de Canadá dice que en algunas ocasiones los las tribus o grupos indígenas son muy cerrados, como propuesta dice que sería bueno realizar una organización para comenzar a enseñar. La delegación de Irán está en contra de realizar una organización propone hacer una campaña ya que el comité no está para realizar organizaciones si no ver soluciones.

¡Así comienza el segundo día de MUN GDL 2018!

Prepa Tec Guadalajara, 29 de septiembre de 2018. Son apenas las ocho de la mañana y los delegados de ECOFIN, junto con la mesa, se reúnen para atender a las resoluciones de el tópico: Las repercusiones de la crisis alimentaria mundial en la pobreza y el hambre en el mundo. Se presentan propuestas de incentivos a la agricultura para sustentar la economía alimentaria. Sin embargo, las delegaciones de Estados Unidos e India, exponen que las condiciones climáticas no son ideales para todos los países, y que, en lugar de representar un beneficio, podría traer problemas a las delegaciones.

Se realizó una entrevista al delegado de  Guinea y Ecuatorial dentro del comité de ONU Mujeres, donde nos platica acerca de su tópico, cuál es es su postura y algunas posibles soluciones que cree convenientes, menciona que su tópico es Derech0s de la mujer y equidad de género,donde su postura es a favor de los derechos de la mujer y comenta que las mujeres no cuentan muchas veces con tantos privilegios como los hombres y es ahí donde no hay equidad de género, propone hacer conciencia y campañas en donde la  mujer busque ser tratados de una forma igualitaria y desde pequeños educar para así poder llegar a hacer grandes cambios.

"Venezuelans are welcomed in their home" - Delegation of Venezuela

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees committee in their 7th session are currently working in two resolutions: Resolution number is being done by the delegations of Venezuela, Syria, Turkey, El Salvador Greece, Italy and Czech Republic and it's being proposed to impulse the Return Home Land Plan, which implies sending planes to the countries hosting refugees to bring them back to their origin country.

"We've asked the UN economical aid for 500 million dollars" - Delegate of Venezuela.

The second resolution plan is being drafted by the other delegations (including USA, Colombia, México and France) and are proposing to send humanitarian and economical aid, help building schools and hospitals to the neighboring delegations of the ones that produces more refugees such as Colombia or Peru.

Se busca solución a la violación de derechos de Indígenas

Se está tratando su segundo tópico acerca de Violación a los derechos humanos de los pueblos indígenas en América Latina donde se dice que los pueblos Indígenas viven actualmente una situación difícil tanto con ellos como con sus tierras, ya que muchas veces son tratados diferente por la sociedad, los hacen menos y sus derechos son violados, por lo que los países están en busca de soluciones como realizar campañas para integración, educar desde pequeños para así siempre los veamos como todos y aceptarlos como se debe ante la sociedad.

Counter Terrorism Committee

The delegation of Kazakhstan stated that any actions take on the war will be consented along with its consequences, as long as they dont take place in their territory, it clearly doesn't care for the repercussions on other countries in the topic of WW3, war against terrorism.

Brazil states that any terrorist events should be punished immediately as soon as they happen, the delegation was then asked if it had the military power to help the situation, but the delegation avoided the statement, and when asked how has it going to help the situation in a state of war, it said that depending on the resolution it will contribute with information, therefore showing that it does not have any type of interest in sending military help to anyone. The chair asked Brazil his opinion on countries that fund terrorism in other countries, to what the delegation stated that no one wants terrorism on their own countries but said nothing on other countries, therefore implying that it doesnt care either on other countries. Ethiopia also stated that it will provide resources for the war since it doesn't have any militar strength but then stated that it does not have any resources to share. How?

Possible agreement

It appears that the committee of UNICEF is having some trouble on settling down the first Resolution since there have been 6 session and still can’t get a final decision, maybe its because the committee is divided by two things; money or education. More than half of the committee thinks that education is the answer but there are still 8 countries that are sure that money, funds, jobs are everything they needs to be needed. By now, the committee have not yet decided the first resolution, and has moved on to the second topic, maybe if they all cleared each other ideas they could get a better understanding and have a solution already. Could that be possible?

El comité de OTAN está conformado de puros hombres, la duda de la mayoría era que si el comite había sido un fracaso o si realmente tuvieron éxito. La realidad es que OTAN fue el primer comité en llegar a la hoja de resolución. Al llegar al salón lo único que se presenció fue orden, gente debatiendo y argumentando respetuosamente para poder llegar a una resulucion, gente responsable y ganas de mejorar el mundo.

Security Council, new allies?

The Washington Post After the fight inside the Security Council in the first sessions, it looks like the delegates have reunited in order to get to a resolution, it seems like some new unexpected allies are working together. As the delegations are working right now in the resolution paper, countries like China, US, Russia, and Iran are working together and agreeing to sign the same resolution, even if the resolution does not benefit some of them that much. Could this be the start of new alliances inside the Security Council? Yesterday the delegate of China gave an exclusive interview stating that some of the countries, including China, were against the proposals made by the US, so which delegation change their mind? Was it China and its allies or was it the US?

Se realizó una entrevista a la Secretaria de Finanzas. Donde manifiesta que el modelo se esta  llevando de una manera positiva. Y espera que todo siga saliendo de acuerdo a como se planeo desde el principio. Para tener un modelo satisfactorio, agradeciendo el apoyo de sus compañeros.

Se realizó una entrevista al delegado de Egipto perteneciente a la Asamblea general tratando el tema de respuesta efectiva ante la creciente tensión en Siria, donde los comenta lo siguiente: -Egipto se encuentra a favor de mantener las relaciones con Siria. -También nos comentó que una de las propuestas dichas fue retirar el armamento de Estados Unidos y Rusia.             

UNODA Buscando soluciones a problemas de seguridad en África Central

Se debatió el primer tópico acerca de problemas de seguridad en África Central donde se comenzaron a proponer posibles soluciones al problema que se  vive actualmente, se mencionaba que miles de personas habían perdido la vida a causa de distintos ataques terroristas y que parte importante de esto era por la corrupción que se vive, con lo que se propuso manejar el sistema de armas de una forma controlada en la que solo autoridades y personas con permiso puedan tener uso de ellas que sean personas previamente investidas para tener así la seguridad de que son confiables, participación en operaciones de paz y con esto reducir el tráfico de armas en el mercado negro.
