#listen to me rn okay#I am SO late to the party#I just watched this show for the first time#I have no idea how I missed the hype for this#but my god#my GOD#this show has altered me forever#the cinematography the storytelling the DRAMA the acting#the way the characters felt so comfortable so close so beautifully written#I usually don’t like shows about young people because as an almost 30 year old I can’t relate#but man this show hit me hard#I literally binged it in 4 days and sobbed and sobbed about it and just started season one again because I need to watch it again already#like put this on my tombstone#favorite character is Felice I LOVE HER SHE IS EVERYTHING TO ME and wow they really explored her character and her experience really well#Simon ??? I would die for you Simon#just don’t really have words to describe how important this show is#the way they explored class and race and queer experience#something as a kid I never thought I would see on screen#just beautiful#young royals#young royals forever#the connection between Omar and edvin is really something special and it was so obvious how comfortable they were together#and how SAFE that filming environment was for them is so special#like wow#this is how I want to see queer intimacy on screen the bar was set so high#so important to me
