support women in the twitch scene this month. always do that ofc but especially recently please put energy into uplifting them and sending them love and supporting them and really hearing what they have to say. not JUST when there are these serious topics, though those are important- but also their passions. their creative projects, their community and their career. support them for who they are and not just what they’ve been through. women are not just their abuse or simple survivor stories.

these are their communities and they speak because they want to better them, and it’s been especially rough lately so just do what you can to show support. misogyny has been rabid and i think they deserve more kindness and discussion not just based around on how they’ve been hurt by others

Imagine. You are a normal Lovejoy fan. You don't really follow any of Wilbur's MCYT stuff but you enjoy his music. Somehow you figure out his band is doing a gig under the name "Ouijaboard Madness." You attend. The gig is going well. All of a sudden hit Minecraft Youtuber and Twitch streamer Tommyinnit walks up on stage completely drenched. You didn't know he was a member of Lovejoy. He then sings Sex Sells with the rest of the band.

When Tommy said he just broke down on the bench while listening to the discs, after a hours of trying to find Techno's last note on the server and coming out empty, that's what did me in too. Despite only knowing their dynamic in 2021, you can genuinely see they cared and enjoyed each other's presence.
