✧ Xiao HC — Nature …
[07/03/23]
He finds peace in very few things; yet one of those things has stood the test of time and will continue to do so until the end of time— Nature. He may never admit it, but the basking beneath the afternoon sun, hearing the ocean waves crashing onto land, the sound of animals nearby, the vibrate colors … what is there not to love about nature ? As long as the sun is out, xe’s debt appears to not be as crushing as it is during the night.
While the stars and moonlight are something else that they admire, they can’t help but feel a stronger sense of grief, anguish, and anger.
What Xiao looks forward to especially during the early hours of the morning, is the waterfalls, lakes, and oceans that illuminate a radiant glow on its surfaces; the cool breeze and the cold temperature of the water is just an added bonus.

✧ Albedo HC — About art …
[ 06/??/23 ]
For awhile I had an idea slip into mind when I thought about the “Chalk Prince” title extensively + Albedo’s attack animation when you hold down the attack button, Rhinedottir could’ve possibly had some connection, knew someone of high royalty/class, or was in fact high royalty/class in Khanri’ah, she probably taught Albedo how to greet others, how to stand, sit, eat, dress, waltz, battle etc etc. and held those expectations high.
In addition, he learned intricacies of what was equivalent to fine and classical art in Khanri’ah, the idea of creating art at the time for himself came merely as an afterthought— That was until they paid a visit to Inazuma and ventured out into the artist alley where they encountered some of the most gorgeous oil painting he had ever seen; perhaps even more than the classics he had been introduced to by his master.
To elaborate, what Teyvat considers to be “art” is different from Khanri’ah’s own ideals of art— and yet, he found this to be a fascinating finding on its own.
What spoke to him the most was the story that each painting told through its thin and detailing line work combined with a bright, yet soft color palette.
From the plainness of the sun down to the complex ocean waves, their simple backstories made him become all the more curious, yet amazed and inspired to replicate the art style for himself.
It was through this experience that day that Albedo was introduced to the world of creativity— They found themselves becoming more creative as a result, while also craving for that creativity; he would have his nose in a fiction novel while sketching illustrations of the contents of said novel as the piles of composite sketches would cover the floors of his laboratory.
