I debated not publishing this, but no, the rest of the fandom needs to see how batshit insane this discourse has gotten. 

I’m assuming anon is referring to CyberTipLine, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s online form for reporting horrible crimes such as the manufacture, distribution, or possession of Child Sexual Exploitation Material, child sex trafficking, and sending unsolicited obscene material to a child. And boy do I hope this is a joke ask, because otherwise, this dingus is trying to report me for writing extremely vanilla ns/fw fanfiction of two adults who are canonically adults—or, in other words, basically the polar opposite of anything even remotely resembling CSEM.

Don’t fucking do this shit, people. 

Aside from the fact that freemance is literally not p*dophilia—it just isn’t, no matter how you try to spin it—submitting false reports to the tip line takes away time and resources that could be devoted to investigating actual crimes involving actual, living, non-fictional children. I am literally at a loss for words to describe how utterly, horrifyingly fucked up it is that there are people on this website who care more about fictional characters (who, again, are not even being fictionally victimized in this particular instance) than actual missing and exploited children. I really hope this is a one-off thing, because the thought that multiple people might’ve flooded the line with reports about my goddamn freemance fanfiction and distracted experts from a child who is in real danger makes me feel sick. 

I don’t necessarily blame the anon here, because for all I know, they’re a child themselves and they were led by others to believe that they were genuinely doing the right thing. But the people who started all this discourse are 17-18+ years old. They are legal adults or near-adults who should fucking know better. I checked a couple of their blogs and it looks like they’ve shared posts about CyberTipLine recently. Given that, I feel entirely justified blaming this on them. 

I know they’ll probably never see this, but if there are still any anti-freemance people lurking on my blog: You all need to calm the fuck down and realize that your ship war crusade has real-world negative consequences for the kinds of actual victims you claim you so desperately want to protect. Tell your friends that this kind of response is not okay.

The argument “show your parents what porn you’re consuming” is… Bad. First of all, my parents would flip at me consuming any type of nsfw content, my mother got upset that I liked Naruto, BNHA, and calls most of my interests occult. Second, starting sexual talk with someone who did not consent to it is pretty much harassment. Third, it’s just… Not a good argument because of many variable factors in one’s environment, and it is just “You can only consume nsfw content someone else approves of!”

Our hamster Cat has passed away. She really was the funniest thing, and would always chew with her tongue lolling out (there was no problems with her mouth, thats just what she did). She will be missed dearly, and Im glad we go to give her a second chance after her owner gave her up because she didnt like the colour (she was a child so Im not angry at her either, more so at her parents)
