As I’m not sure what’s happening in this community anymore, I’ve gotten different stories from both sides of the equation but at the same time, I have no context. Until I’m updated correctly on what the hell is happening, requests are closed. There won’t be a poll, or me interacting with anyone personally within the community again. I will finished what’s already in my inbox, but after that I’m done. I will stick to my own plans and interests for this blog, because I came here with a purpose, which was to share the things that I like, and what I like is incredibox.

It’s always: “this person is a p3doph!l3” “This person isn’t who they say they are” “this person is an asshole, don’t interact with them” “if this person follows you, block them”

This has been popping up on my feed on every social platform that I have for weeks, hinting at various people.

Like I said in the post when I introduced myself here, I just recently became active in the Incredibox community, though I’ve been lurking and just watching and enjoying the content for a while now. Started back in late 2023 early 2024 and seeing this NOW really pissed me off.

As we are a smaller part of a big community it’s making rising artists, mod makers, story writers, etc in this space look horrible. The first impression this space to the people outside of it, is that there is drama and controversy, and all this fuckin shit. And the result is people leaving the community. People dedicated to their craft, putting in their hard work and time into their creations leaving because of problematic people and being surrounded by drama all the time. I’m pretty sure I and several other people have been in and out of communities, it gets tiring finding an interest snd having it ruined by the fandom. It’s fucking annoying.

I’ve had things that I loved that I now despise, friends that I’ve lost FOR THIS REASON.

There’s people scared to even interact in a community for fear of being labeled as a pedo, asshole, or just an unlikeable person. So today I’m listing off some things that I’ve noticed that need to stop. I’m not addressing anyone directly, I’m talking on behalf of myself and other people who think the same thing. If at any point you feel offended stop reading, block me if you need to, I don’t care. My opinion won’t change.

The dictionary definition of a community is a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

It’s a space for people to get together and communicate with other people who think the same, like the same things. Right? Right.

Toxic shit has no place in this community. This community is a safe space for people to enjoy.

No one wants to wake up every other day to a new problem. But unfortunately this seems to be the case which brings me to my next topic.

Don’t engage unless it’s necessary.

Correcting someone’s actions is one thing. Offering an explanation is one thing. Offering criticism is one thing. Harassing someone in the comments is another. Harassing someone in their inbox and messages is another. Pinging and or mentioning someone on a post to talk shit is another.

Why? Because it’s causing more issues and if we learned from our mistakes, we would see that.

We have a block button for a reason, we have a report button for a reason.

If it’s not true, please don’t advertise it as such. That goes without saying, because what reason do you have to lie.

If it is true, don’t deny it. Own up to it. You had no problem when you did it, don’t have a problem when it’s time to admit it.

It’s ruining people’s image. It’s ruining what people think of that person, it’s ruining what people think of you, it’s ruining what people think of this community as a whole. Doing more harm than good.

I’m sick of it. For the few weeks that I’ve been active in it.

This was not meant to offend anyone, simply just speaking my mind, and what I think. This is an example of what constructive criticism is. Not being a dickhead.

If any of this applies to anyone, then you might want to self reflect.

Hopefully whatever is happening is cleared up, and I’m very sorry for my sudden reclusiveness, and I hope for the few of you that were rocking with the request understand.
