for anyone thats seen my posts from last semester (really just for me)

I’m finally doing better. Definitely didn’t think I would ever get here. Especially as recent as a couple weeks ago. I was definitely ready to stop because it felt like I was fighting a battle I had no chance of winning and fighting it completely on my own. Just the simplicity of slight progress on its own is what’s keeping me here and will continue to keep me here. The only difference is that I finally told someone what was happening. Somone who actually wanted to understand and listen. It made me realize that opening up was okay even if what you’re opening up about is dark and extremely heavy. Now I’m working on it every single day and I have hope again for the first time in a very very long time. I’m going to continue surrounding myself with love and telling myself that that is what I deserve until I actually believe it.
