Why commenting on fic is important.

do fic readers know that their comments actually influence the course of the story sometimes? i don't mean in a "you need to write it this way because i say so 😡" type of comment, i mean when people are asking questions or really engaging with the plot and the themes in the comments they sometimes bring up things that i didn't even think of, or dig into parts of the story that i've overlooked, or get really interested/fixated on something i was going to just kind of glance over--and it has me going 'oh wait that's actually really interesting, that's a good point' and fully adding or tweaking or changing things about the story going forward. i'm literally adding an entire additional chapter to something right now because someone's comment had me like "oh i didn't dig into that as much as i could have." you have impact!

Chapter 3 of Safe and Sound is up! As Trixie continues to be ill after the rest of the family has recovered her mysterious illness leads Shelagh to worry. Eventually an answer is revealed. This fic is heading off in directions I never saw coming so excuse the crazy twist and turns as it continues.

The second chapter of Safe and Sound is ready for the public. Trixie feels much better mentally now that she is staying with the Turners. But a stomach bug hits the Turner family and Trixie is there for all of it, the good and bad. The gif was purely so I can watch them holding hands on a loop.

My work in progress is finally far enough along for me to start posting chapters! Here is Chapter 1 of Safe and Sound, a continuation of Take Care of You that picks up after the Bonfire Night mention in Season 13 Episode 8. Trixie continues to struggle with her mental health now that Matthew is gone. She turns once again to Shelagh who suggests that Trixie move in with the Turner family.

Awe early Turnadette! Sorry you all are getting random Turnadette pics and quotes, I'm missing my Call the Midwife Sundays and this is helping to fill the void as I write fic and wait for it to air here in the US. This one features the season 2 Ep 8 engagement hand kiss, one of best I've ever seen done on TV.

My Call the Midwife nostalgia has kicked in since last season ended and I am just re-watching random episodes with a lot of Turnadette in them. I love this couch cuddle we got in season 12 episode 3, it is just so domestic and comfortable and so them.
