The yellow hightlights are ones I was a panelist for. I think the orange was 18+ panels? I don't really know what the rest of the colors meant any more.

I forgot my "Guess that Musical" panel was one of the last... I honored my commitments, so I know I ran it for a handful of people. It's one of my panel pitches that's being considered for DashCon 2. I'm so endlessly amused.... and honestly excited for this summer.

in light of skype finally shutting down [#estonian loss] dont understand why broader emojis never incorporated the skype emo emoji. it is one of the most crucial emojis in the world and the only way to access it is being shut the fuck down.this world is so cruel to its endangered species.

Since starting this next semester at university I've been finding joy in life and really cutting back on quick dopamine fixes (I've found the main culprit has been social media). Deleting social media off of my phone and using my laptop instead to interact online has been instrumental to my finding my love of learning again. Making a boundary between me and the internet has helped me realize again that every action is an adventure. Don't waste all of your time scrolling and don't let corporations rob you of your privacy and attention spans.

earlier today i had trouble participating in an online exam because the Secure Exam Browser we had to use gave me an error message and told me to go read the logs. Turns out it was throwing a fit because i had the hypnospace outlaw cursor installed instead of a regular default one. i reset it and the browser suddenly worked. so i guess watch out for that if any teacher asks you to use secure exam broswer

Ok but like. What the fuck is there to do on the internet anymore?

Idk when I was younger, you could just go and go and find exciting new websites full of whatever cool things you wanted to explore. An overabundance of ways to occupy your time online.

Now, it’s just… Social media. That’s it. Social media and news sites. And I’m tired of social media and I’m tired of the news.

Am I just like completely inept at finding new things or has the internet just fallen apart that much with the problems of SEO and web 3.0 turning everything into a same-site prison?
