i don't think i can even go on survivor twitter anymore this season they are so unhinged. if the thought of a man winning a season ruins the show for you then you shouldn't be watching a competition show. joe and shauhin, the two people who will most likely win, seem like super genuine people. the nastiness of people online making up shit about the strong alliance being full of republicans (makes no sense) to justify their dislike for their play style is SO WEIRD. like dude if you can only handle a certain winner archetype stop watching!!!

why do yall hate joe and eva so much? hot take but they're some of my favorites this season (alongside mary, sai, kamilla, and kyle)

I sort of get why some people might not like eva because of some of her comments, especially this episode, but I feel like the hate is not at all proportionate to what she said? to me it just seems like a poorly phrased/articulated explanation of her experiences

like if all the women she's met have treated her poorly then I sort of get why she might be a little wary. and also like setting that aside, she's just around guys more often. like if I was in a male dominated field and played on an all guys sports team, yeah all my friends are gonna be guys just cause that's who I have the opportunity to interact with more! and did you see how excited she got about the jet skis? her connecting with david is more than just gender, it's shared interests! if I was on survivor and found someone else that loved a niche interest of mine of course I'd want to be friends with/work with them, no matter the gender!

and she hasn't been like openly antagonistic to any woman in particular other than star (who has also been antagonistic toward eva so it's mutual), so I feel like saying "omg she hates women and is such a pick me" is just false? again I think some of her comments could have been better phrased and/or were in bad taste but I think yall are blowing this out of proportion and eva doesn't deserve the hate.

and what the hell has my man joe even done? he's just seems to be a really chill and genuine dude why do yall have it out for him?

keep in mind I don't keep up with all the interviews or pre-show stuff so all I know is what's shown on the show. so I guess I could've missed something there? but idk that's just my opinion and analysis, if I'm wrong or missed something please feel free to point it out

I feel so so bad for eva because its a pretty common thing for autistic girls to feel more comfortable with guys growing up due to feeling like outsiders, and the entire internet is calling her a pick me and even maga energy. Like tbh its reminding me of how carolyn tells people to their face she has been treated unseriously all her life and then they still do it.
