Hey there my fellow cosplayers. It's been awhile since I have posted anything... How has everyone been?! 

I uploaded this on youtube, but been deciding if I should post it up on any of the social networks that I use for awhile. I realized that I missed a few steps in the tutorial so feel free to ask me questions. Let me know if you want to see more of this … Oh and please like and share! So I realized I haven't updated on my cosplay progress. Well this is what I have been working on. It's the sword replica for Ping (Mulan). This is made entirely out of foam. As of now I put only one layer of mod podge and sketched out the face that appears on the sword. I need to put another layer of mod podge and hopefully get to painting soon. PAX is just around the corner and I have not finished my cosplay yet :3. This is what I get for procrastinating xD.

So I’d like to announce that I have started my armour for Ping! I do not know how to make armour. The internet is my best friend at the moment lol! This will be a big learning experience for me! My first ever cosplay costume that I am creating. I couldn’t find any reference pics, so I had to make my own. Went to the dollar tree and bought a roll of shipping paper to sketch out all the armour pieces and cut them out. It took me almost a whole day to do this xD. Second day (yesterday), I cut out most of the pieces on to my black craft foam. Did this right when I got home from work lol. Taped them together to see how it would look. I still have a lot to fix and add to the armour. Will update later. Any tips and tricks will be helpful! (:

Went to joann’s yesterday and picked up black craft foam, green fabric, and fabric scissors. Guess what I’m making? !…. Yup, Ping! My friend Amanda will also assist me with this project. Considering I am still new to this. Ahhh, I’m so excited! Few more steps to making this costume come true!!! Ekkkk (:

My next cosplay? Hell to the yeah! All my life, my friends and family always told me that I resembled Mulan :3. Plus, Mulan's one of my all time favorite character. An inspiration to all females. I am honored to cosplay her as Ping. I am finally going to invest in a sewing machine for my mom and I to use. One step closer to making this cosplay costume come true. (:
