Ever since I’ve seen pictures of Bret McKenzie I can’t help but imagine Lindir having really curly unruly hair… hence my headcanon of Lindir always fighting with his hair, trying to get it straight, because proper elves have those flowing straight locks and he’s a proper elf, thank you very much D<

I DID IT!!!! After almost a year, I finished the entire generation! May I present: King Finrod Felagund, fairest and most beloved of the house of finwë. I can't believe I actually did it! It was so fun, but also so much pressure! To get them right, to make them pretty and realistic. And I'm so grateful. I think I've gotten better in the process and now I want to go back to polish some of the others. On my list of polish are: Celegorm, Amrod or Amrass (I can't tell), Argon and some of Turgon's hair. Thank you so much guys for your likes! I really couldn've done this without you all!

*blinks at Lindir.* "okay you need tea. And a break." *pulls his papers away from him*

Lindir stares at the space where his stack of papers once sat. For a moment he says nothing, but eventually those soft brown eyes rise to take in the concerned face of his Lady and he suppresses his instinctual response. It would NOT be appropriate to cuss out the Lady of Imladris and snatch the paperwork back from her... even if it had been her husband who'd tasked him with the work in the first place.

"My Lady..." He begins, diplomatically...

"I will most assuredly take a break the moment the work is finished... I will, however, acquiesce to tea..."

The promise seemed to soothe the little prince, who immediately settled and ceased his squirming. The sensation of the magic in his hair tingled and he giggled, before turning his head again to gaze at her over his shoulder.

@pxnxply “Sit still, little bird.” Melian laughed gently, retrieving the comb from where she had dropped it. His hair was so fine, so smooth in her hands, and she was filled with the memory of brushing her daughter’s hair when she was small. It brought a painful joy to her heart. “We have to brush it, or it will tangle.”

Elurín huffed and sat back down obediently in her lap, silver eyes blinking up at her. Not a word left his lips, but the little boy demonstrated his disapproval with the look on his face.

Still, he sat still, lips pursed and ears slightly lowered.

It tugs on my hair, he thought miserably, hoping his great grandmother would hear him.

Finrod beamed at his cousin, teeth flashing in an irritatingly perfect smile as he basked in the momentary triumph.

"Hm? Oh, pity, my dear cousin - for I know how lonely you get..."

There was teasing laughter in his eyes as Finrod offered a handful of the nuts he'd been shelling. "I enjoy your company."

Regarding Maeglin and OC's

My iteration of Maeglin, in general, will not have children. This blog will not be interacting with OCs, who are children of Maeglin. Sorry! Sibling OCs, discuss with me first, and I'm a bit finicky with that sort of thing. So far, I've only plotted with @ondothlim for Ithril (and that's not for canon verse).

SHIPPING

1. I am open to shipping Maegs, but there must be chemistry. I can't force a ship, and I won't try to be honest. My Maeglin is very gay but highly closeted. To date, my iteration has shown 0 interest in women (he thought he fancied Idril, but it turns out he misunderstood his feelings and then just tried to save face). I've also yet to write him in a ship where he takes the more dominant role, but this isn't by design, so who knows? Nothing is impossible.

2. Ships must be established first, please don't use any nsfw prompts unless we've established a ship.

3. I will not tolerate rp bleed. Hoping this isn't as prevalent as it used to be, but I'm married irl and while I'm happy to ship characters, this does not mean you and I are involved.

4. Not massively shipping related but adjacent? No, my Maeglin does not have children and never will. Not interested in going down that path for him.
