ran to the bus stop but my bus arrived 2 mins before it said it would so i still missed it then the next bus was late so my 2nd bus left just as my first bus was pulling into the bus loop 😭 so now i'm gonna be 10 minutes late to class -_-
#i used to consistently be like 30mins early then like a couple years ago now lmfao i got depressed and started being almost late all the#time. dont know how to fix that because its been a couple years. makes my life so much more stressful but idk. hard to get out of bed#but also idek i'm almost late to lots of things lately sleeping has nothing to do with those things my time management is just worse#when i'm this depressed i spend a lot of time just. being depressed and not doing anything like everything takes 2x longer

my watchlist is over 1,000 films and rapidly climbing. i scroll through my watchlist and 90% of the titles i’ve never even heard of. i see a single frame from a movie that looks cool or 1 review (that i didn’t even read) from someone i trust and Boom it goes on the watchlist. why? like at this point why even have the list. who am i kidding i love my watchlist i want it to be 1 million movies long

realized recently that when people say they just dont understand how people can be [bigoted in a specific way whether that be a broad category like homophobic or more micro type things] they mostly dont want you to try to explain it to them
#had a very circular convo the other day that was me trying to be helpful and the other person just repeating that they just dont get it#i mean i believe that actually examining these things is very important for numerous reasons like better defense strategies & consistency#w/in your own personal ideology#but i get that the purpose of the convo for the other person is very different and they just want to vent (+ position themselves as just#innately morally superior but whatever.)#but tbh i just kinda hate hearing that i hate hearing other ppl talk about it its extremely frustrating because they start to act like#bigotry is some mystical thing and theres no connection between milder and stronger versions

JSTOR for those of us who stupidly forgot to use your resources for personal research while enrolled in college classes, what can we do??? Google isn’t enough especially with the en 💩 ification of the 2020s

Check with your school's library to determine whether or not they offer alumni access.
Check with your local public library to see if they offer JSTOR access. Sometimes they offer on-site access, sometimes remote.
If you register for a personal account, you can read a limited number of articles per month for free!
We offer individual subscriptions under JPASS, with monthly or annual plans.
