On September 6th of 2019, I returned home to a festival I've been a part of for over 7 years and counting. The daylight heat on that day made it seem as if Summer wasn't even close to an end. Friendly faces were everywhere and I found myself once again conducting a story from inside a geometrical pyramid as the festival awakened for the weekend. I can't quite explain the magic you feel on grounds when you've returned to somewhere that continually makes dreams come true, so you'll have to experience Dancefestopia for yourself here soon! I've posted a link to my set from this year's festival to relish in the nostalgia of it! I hope you take in every second of it and share my stylings with those who would enjoy them as well!

It's a big pleasure of mine to be performing at my home town music festival, Dancefestopia, for the seventh year in row this year coming up on September 5th and lasting until the 8th! My set is scheduled for Friday at 2PM which puts me among some of the first artists to kick things off for the festival! I plan on setting the bar with a set of combined elements that even incorporates some live improvised trombone playing into it as well as an eclectic track selection of heavy bass music! Here comes the ever evolving proper grammar to redefine the system! Should you miss this experience, may you find your way somehow to the next or else be lost forever!

In celebration of breaking a thousand likes on Facebook, I released this bad-ass mix from an event hosted by Hammock Kansas in 2018. I pour my soul into every mix of mine and having the opportunity to perform where people come just to listen to your music allows me to spread the energy of my love for music to others effortlessly. I cherish these kind of smaller events as they allow me to get more personal with my sets. This set in particular was the debut of my solo work featuring my live improvised trombone playing; a new concept that I wanted to experiment with. For now, you can only catch me playing “Lady Boner” (that’s the name I gave my horn) live at certain sets. I plan to record her in the near future, however my life has taken some unexpected turns recently and my top priority is now to re-home myself so I can get back into my creative flow without the stresses of life distracting me. I really can’t wait for what the future holds for me as I feel combining my talents has unlocked new opportunities for me!

The beginning.
When I started DJ’ing in 2012, I began working with a group of musicians under the title of Dominion Group Entertainment. It was the first place I felt welcomed to spread my creative wings. Everyone had their own niche sound and we worked on new tracks together while passing blunts around. Life was much simpler. To be reminded of where I come from and how easy it used to be to sit around and toss ideas back and forth with each other makes things seem a lot less intimidating when it can sometimes feel overwhelming starting new tracks. The team disbanded shortly after a few years and I’m not entirely sure there’s anyone left from our label still producing music. It’s bittersweet but it motivates me even more to want to go further with my music and carry forward from the memories of those who have helped me grow along the way.
