“rhys and cassian abusing azriel” if azriel has traumatic flashbacks for cassian and azriel when they were kids fighting him, then you can make that comparison. but it doesn’t work at all because, clearly azriel does have traumatic flashbacks but rhysand and cassian have shown azriel nothing but love, family, and acceptance for who he is and azriel loves them.

the trauma nesta gave feyre, however, is very real and feyre shows signs of that trauma from her sister verbally abusing her still festering and triggering her.

feyre only at the end of acosf just barely reaches some kind of middle ground with her sister, after she, her newborn baby, and her mate nearly die.

rhysand, cassian, and even rhysand’s mother played a family role for azriel when his own blood relatives were horrible to him. nesta has shown herself from being far from a good, supportive sister to feyre for most of the series.

comparing azriel’s “trauma” from cassian and rhys to feyre showing actual trauma from her sister’s abuse and neglect is so bad faith and ridiculous.

how can you always hate on nesta for abusing feyre but not care about cassian and rhysand abusing azriel? it is hypocritical

As Feyre stans there’s no way we should trust SJM, she doesn’t respect Feyre as much as she should and that much was clear with HOFAS and even ACOSF at certain moments where she was still getting disrespected even after all she’s been through.

I wouldn’t put it past SJM to put Feyre into the Elain Az and Lucien ship drama, she did it in ACOWAR and ACOFAS..what makes us think she won’t put her in the middle again? Or Rhys? Feysand is always thrown into the sister mating dramas, it’s a cycle at this point. Feyre stans are the toughest of this fandom because she’s been wasted as a leader just like her powers have been wasted so far for 2-3 books. Elain snapping at Feyre over Lucien even pissed me off. Elain almost kissing Azriel while Lucien was upstairs? I don’t care for either ships but doing that in Feysand’s house? SJM always involves them, it’s why I don’t even get my hopes up for when it comes to how Feyre will be written anymore because of the constant petty writing choices with her. SJM had Bryce hype up Nesta in HOFAS and not THE Feyre. SJM is more ridiculous with her writing choices for Feyre than people like to admit….even after the constant disappointments post ACOWAR for some reason.

i don’t trust that lady, she has a very evil spirit. and don’t get me started on feyre’s treatment in acosf and hofas. my eye starts to twitch whenever i think about it for too long.

i do expect she’ll be involved to a degree, that’s been hinted at plenty and feyre does love her sisters unfortunately so she’s does gaf about their happiness. and rhys will be involved 100% but i just don’t think (or i HOPE) that rhys will be the villain and that feyre and rhys will actually fight each other over elriel like folks say.

even though people are casting feyre as some cheerleader for elriel, feyre knows and understands rhys, even at his absolute worst and throughout his actions utm she understood him even though she didn’t like it. i do think she’ll disapprove of rhys “”forbidding”” elriel because she has a romantic spirit, and she’ll probably do so vocally, but i doubt she’ll throw him on his ass like people seem to want.

i’m not holding my breath though because, like you said, sjm is forgetting who exactly feyre is and is forgetting WHO is the reason behind acotar’s success. and it’s not nesta or elain 🙁 she knows feyre and rhys have to be involved in the next book because the people are interested in FEYSAND, even their haters, so she’s going to insert them no matter what. no feysand no clout, hofas showed this perfectly 🥴

after the poor quality of her post-acosf work, i don’t have high expectations to what she does with rhys and feyre, all i want is feysandnyx happiness and high king and queen storyline not because i really care but because it’ll piss people off.

rhysand visiting floplin in the spring court in acofas is always so iconic.

the nerve t*mlin has here at his lowest, manor in shambles, living in filth, being a useless beast to call anyone in the night court brutes still.

and rhysand being able to be so cutting here while remaining calm "i didn't need to yell to convey my rage. i never had." whack him again! the fact that anyone thinks that this was anything but the truth is ridiculous.

mind you, that reaction from rhys is not born out of nothing. being in the spring court is a reminder of how scared feyre was and how she was being violently abused by t*mlin for months. this is rhysand holding himself back.

people act like this was out of line, but this was in response to t*mlin, yet again, acting like feyre is a prize object and not a woman with autonomy. t*mlin says, "you won," acting like she's a possession and rhysand is throwing his happy ending in t*mlin's face, as if t*mlin isn't the creator of his own demise.

pure hateration but in a classy manner.

if you think it's mean that rhysand calls out a guy who lives in his own filth and acts like an animal at his big age, that's on you.

he says he is not being kind here, but he really is because, personally, i would've told t*mlin to go die.

even here, rhysand is extending him far more compassion than #he would ever give to rhys or any of the inner circle. rhysand is so kind and benevolent 🤗💜 that's my prince of prythian. number one hater to all who have hurt feyre and still has sympathy towards others.

i wish feyre was the bad sister that everyone claims she is. i wish she was even the slightest bit as selfish as her antis claim.

instead, feyre is forced by the narrative to have to yet again parent her older sisters and be a source of financial means, and she's expected to be the most perfect and understanding sister who never complains or feels bitter about this.

and now, stans want to act like she's the #1 cheerleader for one sister and really gaf about who her sister is in a relationship to the point where she'd throw her mate onto his ass about it and not understand his political decisions. and on the other side, she is "just as bad" as the other sister who verbally abused her growing up.

if lucien stans actually were being serious about their criticism of feyre "abandoning" him and leaving the poor old man alone with tamlin, they wouldn't post lucien/tamlin angst and ship it as much as they do. for a group of people who love to parrot that "he was a victim too" yall sure do love to entertain lucien being friends or fucking his supposed "abuser." but feyre stans are supposed to take you guys seriously when you say "feyre and lucien both made mistakes in their friendship." NOPE! there is a reason why lucien says feyre was a better friend than him, and it's not because feyre was "just as bad" for making a joke about his stupid friend group's name or her leaving a very abusive home.

and the dismissiveness lucien fans have of his complicity in feyre's abuse and how he treated her makes me not care when these people fake cry about feyre being a bad friend or being mean to him.
