Surely you saw that in him, Dragon, or else why would you have bonded yourself to him?"

She sighed a little. "I have a lot of patience, because searching tombs requires it. Solving puzzles there, dodging enemy attacks here, it all pays off in the end. I wish I could show you some of the things I've found along the way."

I guess he still feels that sort of thing, deep down.”

She smiled a little, glad that the dragon supported her and Caim’s… romance? Situation? Exploration? She wasn’t sure what to call it, but she was glad and surprised that it was there.

〖A chuckle, almost sinister in its sound, left the dragon.〗 “And why would I be angry?” 〖she questioned.〗 “He is my pact-partner, not my possession.” 〖How odd, she felt, that the young woman felt as though she had to be involved with the man’s affairs. As far as the dragon was concerned, only his physical well-being mattered. Theirs was a life shared, but that did not mean they would be inseparable. Convenience kept them bound.

The claws upon her wings scraped the dirt as she settled against the ground.〗 “What lies buried will inevitably be brought to surface again. Someone only needs to want to dig for it. You must have great patience should you wish to do such digging.”
