Since I was supplied with files and notes from the previous interactions with Tiamat, I've followed the trail of breadcrumbs and I can't find any sort of clue how or where she'd have gone, or when. Unless there was some pre-existing connection established that we hadn't thought to check.

The system i had assumed would be fried from her hasty exit but it's completely intact. As if she hadn't even been there at all. My mind went to this being a decoy, maybe she cloaked herself so we would let down our guard but there's just.. nothing.

No hidden files, no back door left open, nothing.

We can continue to work and understand the portal system, maybe that could buy us valuable time. Maybe I could even attempt to re-establish connection with Rocket and the third Egon.

Sufficed to say, that's our only lead.

Currently I am in what I assume is your equal modern time. Assuming the other versions of myself are from the past which I have already experienced. There has been a branch, however, given my situation I would hope is not shared among the others. The Dr. Spengler from your time should avoid this by all means, the less stress the better. I'm already handling this, so be it.

The dimensional studying came about after my own incident here, experiencing what we had. Accidental, but fascinating. Perhaps that's why the Nexus decided to have me help you all, because of my interest.

Five Egon Spenglers? How lucky you must be.

Funny thing when you call something silly ironically and it just manages to stick. Silly ideas that have a lasting impact, don't you just love those? Nothing wrong about that, unless it leads to horror and terror and ruins lives.

Tiamat has more power that some entities like the Boogeyman, believing in her or not won't keep her at bay, unfortunately. As long as she is simply tormenting you through dreams could be her waiting for the perfect time. Which could be any time at all. Staying awake is not an option, I wouldn't ask that of you, that would be a stupid bandaid solution to a larger problem.

What things have you seen from your dreams? They could be hints to Tiamats' plans.

Hopefully you and your team can make something of all that and put it to good use before things get worse. The last thing I expect you'd want is your friend Keith or anyone else to suddenly implode on a cellular level and disappear into untethered fabrics of reality, stuck between dimensions that slowly chips away like the shell of a hard boiled egg in a pressure vacuum.

The Ray Stantz you spoke to is not affiliated with me, I'm afraid. Somehow the lines crossed and you connected to me. . . which is lucky. Somehow the dimensions knew you were reaching out to An Egon, it just swiveled and decided which one for you.

Lucky I have nothing better to do with my time. And it is nice to know a Ray somewhere is still directing people to me, for help. It's been quiet here in these past few years.

Interdimentional illnesses can manifest in a bevy of ways from a simple brain fog to temporary amnesia, down to cellular degradation or entirely frozen in place. It can be extremely dangerous when not monitored properly, but I trust when you say everyone is being carefully watched especially Keith. But prolonged exposure can also be a determining factor, as long as your sure the gateway you've created isn't still leaking into your establishment.

I won't concern myself with other alternates of myself, I'm sure they would rather not cross paths with me either way. Some things are best left alone.

Thank you for giving me the way to contact this Rocket person, I'll drop a line when I'm able and hopefully I don't scare her off. However it does concern me when you mentioned this blow up, too many alternate dimensions crossing all at one junction could lead to worse outcomes. I will be careful with who I connect to, and it would have to be secure.

Yes, our own gateway was a pet project I had worked on plenty in the past. It was a way to make repairs to the containment unit from the inside and cutting out the middleman of sending in Slimer to assist. Unfortunately it backfired and there were lasting complications. All of which I worry could effect other dimensions if not kept of control properly. I would appreciate to see these schematics of your own. . . maybe I can help repair it.

I see. This does sound somewhat urgent.

Our own interdimentional gateway hit a snag not too long ago, thankfully it did not result in an ancient diety roaming through, the side effects aren't the best however. Given the details you've told me now, I could figure out some semblance of a solution or part of one that could be worked out between all of you.

Another version of me. . . That is a new one. I won't ask questions now. That isn't important, we will focus in your Tiamat problem, first. Keep an eye on your friend Keith, this is hopefully the worst of the worst for him and that any sort of interdimentional illness does not get worse. Or else you will need far more than my own help.

Who is this Rocket you mentioned? I should get in contact with them, as well. More heads in this would be better, more minds at work. Mine own doesn't work as well as it used to.

Keep your computer in a low power mode and if possible even disconnected from any and all online connections without disturbing the entity inside. Given she may travel through these connections, or worse, through finite dimensional threads caused by the backfire. In any case, this is very not good.

Privacy is out of the question nowadays unfortunate as that may be, I do not mind your contacting me, though I also am not sure how you contacted my colleague. However still he would be correct that I have an vast, approximate knowledge of many things.

Something must have happened to trigger Tiamat into returning. If she is able to manipulate and interact with others across, however you mean it, dimensions, that cannot be good.

Our file systems have been out of sorts for a while and I've only started fixing it─it will take some time but I can find whatever we have left on our drives regarding the diety.

After one too many unexpected trips into and through the Netherworld (fondly called Ghostworld) Egon Spengler along with the other Busters find themselves effected by changes from the dimensional hopping. Aging has slowed to a halt near entirely from the intensive cellular separation and regeneration, as well as more obvious mutation (discolored pupils, hair, skin in places).

Taking place within the year 202*, Egon remains looking as he and the other have circa 1992.

• first and foremost this is a parody & roleplay account. this is purely for fun and entertainment for myself and my friends, it is not anything more serious nor should it taken seriously. anything said and done here is just my fun alternate take interpretation.

• no spamming or harassing or crossing boundaries. my dms are open for mutuals and to answer small (normally ooc) questions. please do not abuse my messaging system or my inbox, the block button is right there if you cause distress.

• as I said above this is an alternate take, very alternate universe on Egon Spengler. he is not the same as in the movies, comics, game, etc., he is different and I take creative liberties in portraying him this way.
