I haven’t played any of the Deus Ex games myself yet
the main protagonist can acquire new mods or augmentations for his body making him more and more machine than his original body as you progress through the game

the little sisters in Bioshock are the primary way of gaining Adam one of the technical currencies of Rapture the games setting mainly used in evolving your character and their abilities. while I’m not intending on using a feature in such a way like this, in my project its viable to look at it for character progression and design along parallel with other characters or enemies

the dark crystal and the netflix adaptation masterful puppet work and effects

i recently watched the dark crystal age of resistance on Netflix
the practical work with models is a big inspiration for my work and ive largely considered going into physical model making again like with my FMP from last year




suprisingly the puppetry is massive in scale to the size of a person where more coomonly it would be a shrunk down set
but they focused on scale massivle to accentuate the urksees/antagonists size compared to the main characters

lost in translation Project evaluation
I’m not very happy with how this project went, I believe as well as acknowledge I could have done far more with higher experience and expertise along with the range in regard to hardware, software ,skills and devices at my disposal encompassed and beset throughout the projects scale and timeframe.
Time management has repeatedly been a large focal recurrence i have
Due to various situational and personal issues at home which id rather not discuss has a varied affect on my abillity to work at times, I did take councelling with student welfare to counteract this but not recently since I thought it would help handle the workload ironically it only made the issue worse again. I am looking into to taking it again to counteract this issue which i hope should not be one in the future
(note for kirstie or chris I can remove the personal home issues segment if its irrelevant or uneeded for this thought id add it since i mentioned it previously)
A primary technical issue I faced with this was my ability to do the work at home and different locations, in my time in and outside of college. this was the availability of photoshop at home, I do not own or use abode photoshop because of the price/cost of their products. money being a massive restriction for me equipment (mainly software) wise.
Because of my neccesity of gimp at home I’ve struggled alot to switch between photoshop and the latter frequently, and to make use of gimp at all since it works vastly different. In the use of its basic and primary tools
As well as a massive constraint being the hardware available outside of college aswell i had been using a outdated and very low spec laptop to do my work which has begun to pack up, until december(now) I’ve been unable to use a decent spec computer to work on that can handle Gimp or Photoshop to handle that problem I procured a better pc as of the end of november 2019 to do my work so that issue has been solved#
