Text: I like the way you think Puckerman. Let's do it. You can sleepover too, if you'd like. And no I don't mean it in a sexy way. I mean it as you can have the couch so you can cheer me up all night.
text: Says the girl who wanted to date me a week ago. :P Kidding.

Text: then can you come over with some ice cream and watch chick flicks with me?
text: Trade chick flicks with horror movies and I'm there. Trust me, it'll make you feel a million times better to see someone get ripped apart by a guy with a chainsaw than any chick flick ever would.

nyulopez replied to your post: Can we… talk about what happened last night?
Okay, I’m meeting up with Rachel so we can talk but… later?
Yeah. And I want a for real explanation and not some lies and shrugging it off either. I know you.

Text: Puckerman. I need someone to get me drunk and make me forget Sam. Think you can help a girl out?
text: Nope, not drinking and not helping any more girls get drunk this week. Doesn't mean I won't help you out though. Pick an activity that doesn't involve you getting sloshed.

"You did something stupid... and so you're gonna hook up with me to fix it?" Puck kind of felt used. It had never really bothered him up until now but Santana was just outright using him. "What did you do?" He wanted to go back inside, maybe walk Brittany home and apologize for the night but at the same time he didn't feel like he could leave Santana. Turning to look toward the door, to see if anyone else had come outside (it was getting late and Puck figured the bar was closing), he spotted Rachel walking away from them. "Where's she off too? Hey, Rachel! Let me walk you guys home!"

“What about her?” Santana closed her eyes, slipping her arms around his waist. “She’s Britt. She’ll understand. You’re my best friend, too.” She tugged his hips forward slightly. “I’m not trying to hurt anyone. I just…” she took a deep breath and opened her eyes again. “I did something stupid.”

"What about Brittany?" He asked, moving in close again. He didn't quite give her what she wanted but he did rest his forehead against hers. Santana was a force he could not reckon with, even as much as he wanted to sometimes. She was a weakness of his, he had to admit it. "She's your best friend."
The Drunken Ox | @everyone
Santana slid her hand around the back of his neck, leaning back against the wall again and pulling him close, her other hand finding his bicep and squeezing gently. Something about kissing Puck had always made her feel grounded. It was something she knew she had control over. “We’re kissing.” She murmured, brushing her lips over his again, winding her hand through the hair at the nape of his neck.

He wanted to give in. Every bone in his body said to let her do what she wanted. Habit had taken over. But the twisting feeling in his gut wouldn't let him continue without complaint. After a moment of kissing her back he pulled away again, this time further back, gaze sweeping over her face like he was trying to figure something out. "Why are we kissing?"
The Drunken Ox | @everyone
“I don’t know.” Santana admitted. “I don’t know why it’s bothering me but it is and I just couldn’t sit there and watch you… do that.” She dug her fingers harder into the fabric of the coat and looked up to meet his eyes. “I’m just really confused.” She let her teeth drag over her bottom lip, hesitating before pushing off the wall and up onto her toes, leaning in to press her lips firmly against Puck’s.

Fuck. Just... fuck. Puck should have seen it coming. But he didn't. He was dumb to the world around him and it showed in his surprise when Santana pushed off that wall to kiss him. Hands automatically found her waist and instinct had him kissing back. The problem this time though was that he knew he shouldn't have. He'd always been caught in Santana's web. For as long as he could remember she had this weird power over him and he could never put his finger on it. "San," he spoke quietly, still close enough that his lips brushed against hers. "What are we doing?"
The Drunken Ox | @everyone
Santana sighed and let him slip his jacket around her shoulders, pulling it around herself. “We were. I mean, we are. It’s not about that.” She shook her head. “I don’t… I haven’t felt that way about Britt in a long time. That’s not…” she looked down at her shoes. “You like her?”

"I don't know if I like her in the way you're thinking of right now yet... but I like being around her." He shrugged, not finding this to be anything new. "What I can't figure out is why it is bothering you. So what, she and I hooked up. It's not like we haven't before. Talk to me, woman. Because I'm not a girl and I can't read your mind."
The Drunken Ox | @everyone
Santana wasn’t entirely surprised when she heard Puck’s voice in front of her. He’d been one of her best friends for as long as she could remember and it wasn’t actually rare that he came to her rescue. She crossed her arms over her chest, hugging herself against the cold and looked up at him. “Are you sleeping with Britt?”

"Does one drunken hook up since we've been here count as sleeping with?" He asked, shrugging off the jacket he'd been wearing so he could hand it over to Santana. "I thought you two were well done and over." Surely Santana wasn't really angry that they'd slept together. Or maybe she was. Right now Puck couldn't really tell what was going on. "She's nice, San. I like Brittany."
The Drunken Ox | @everyone
Puck was slightly dumbstruck. Why was everyone leaving? Surely being slightly affectionate with Brittany wasn’t putting everyone in this big of a funk. “Hey B,” he spoke up once Santana was gone. “I’m gonna go try to talk to her. But I’ll be back, okay? Why don’t you go over to the bar and talk to Sam and Rachel. And, hey… I’m sorry. I don’t know why they’re acting like this.” He stood up again, once more pausing to lean down to the girl. Only this time he managed a kiss to her lips and a smile when he pulled away. It didn’t take him long to navigate his way out of the crowd, following Santana’s path. And it took him even less time to locate the girl. He’d known her so long it was kind of hard for her to blend into a room. “What the hell was all that, San?”

To say Sam was slightly confused when he got to the table, would be an understatement. “Uh…” he said before shaking his head of his inner thoughts. He looked a Brittany first who was holding up his Na’vi drink. “Well yeah, I mean I figured if they’re far superior aliens from space the drink has to be kind of strong” he said with a small smile. “Anyways yeah, I feel ya man…” he said to Puck, “I feel like all I do is go to school and work. with some sleep and eating in between” he finished. He frowned a bit as he looked over at Santana who was looking over at Rachel intensely. “Don’t leave now…You guys just got here like…20 minutes ago. I’ll go talk to Rach. Just sit tight. Or go talk to some of the ladies. There is an abundance of them here tonight.” Sam dropped off the drinks and started walking back behind the bar, beelining towards Rachel. He gave the guy next to her an intimidating look and watched as he left the bar area. “What’s a pretty girl like you sitting up here at the bar alone?” he said charmingly to Rachel with a smile. He reached over, placing his hand on hers gently, “hey…is everything okay Rach?” he asked her kindly.

"No, we aren't." Puck was quick to correct Sam as they headed back toward the table. "Just hanging out. And I am tired, man. College is great, I'm just adjusting to the schedule." He hadn't expected his show of affection to cause any great rift between the girls. It wasn't like he'd never kissed any of the others on their cheek before but upon returning he could tell that something was off. This time instead of putting his arm around Brittany he just sat close, keeping one hand on his beer and the other on his lap. "Yeah, well, I was going up there anyway so I figured I might as well... what's her problem?" He asked, watching as Rachel walked away from them and back up to the bar. "You're really gonna leave? That's shit."

Santana set her jaw, crossing her legs as she reached for the blue drink again. She honestly wasn’t sure why she suddenly felt so jealous, or who it was she was even jealous of. She took the beer as soon as Puck set it in front of her, downing half of it before picking at the label, tearing off small strips of paper. “I could’ve gotten that.” She muttered under her breath, tapping her heel anxiously against the back of the booth as Puck slid back into place. “Yeah, well, I have an early class. I don’t know how much longer I should actually stay.”

Puck's eyebrows shot up when he spotted Santana noticing Brittany and himself, as if he were challenging her to say something. It wasn't like she wanted him. Puck knew that when he and Santana hooked up that it was a last resort for her and just because it happened sometimes didn't mean she owned him. Or Brittany, really. He wasn't doing anything out of spite. He'd just had a nice time with Brittany last time around. Not bothering to finish his beer before he tasted the one Sam sent over, Puck nodded in approval. "Frilly, but I like it. Rachel, let me go get you something without alcohol in it." He stood, leaning down momentarily to push lips to Brittany's cheek before making his way back to Sam at the bar. "Hey man, you look stressed. How are things? I need to get a virgin daiquiri and another round of beer."
The Drunken Ox | @everyone
Santana watched Puck’s arm move across Brittany’s back and shot him a glance. She didn’t have real feelings for either of them anymore but it was still sort of weird to see them doing, well, she wasn’t entirely sure what it was they were doing. She tried to tear her attention way, looking back towards Rachel as she took another long drink from her bottle. “Yeah well, I wanted you to have something and I don’t think there’s much alcohol in it anyway.” She paused as a blue drink was placed in front of her and sniffed at it. “There might be in this though.” She cleared her throat and took a small sip, wincing at the taste. “Oh God. My week was a drunken haze.”

"If you say so," Puck responded to Rachel with a slight shake of her head. She probably wanted to be here about as much as he did though, so he couldn't really blame her. When Brittany appeared, and Santana not long after, he greeted them both with a small wave. Britt's choice in seating was appreciated and Puck even shifted closer to her, arm already snaking across her back to tug her closer by the middle. "Poor Sam must be slammed up there. Next round is on me." With that he tilted his beer toward the girls as a sort of cheers and took a swig.

“Give me a couple beers and something pink and fruity tasting for Rachel.” She leaned over the bar, kissing Sam on the cheek before taking the drinks back to the table. She slid into the booth next to Rachel and put the drinks down, taking a swig of her beer. “What’d I miss?” She glanced over at Rachel, noting how absent she seemed, and raised an eyebrow. “You good?”
