There are moments in your life when huge revelations about yourself dawns on you. They come without warning, and they don't always happen in ideal times and places. She'd realized a part of her regretted not going to Korea with her mother when she was ten, eating her lunch in a bathroom stall because another kid said her kimchi smelled weird. She'd realized she wanted to be an idol when she was thirteen, desperately trying to tape back the Sunlight Sisters fanzine she made herself in her room because a classmate ripped it apart. Now, at nineteen years old, she's sitting naked on a stool with suds in her hair when she realizes she's falling in love with the girl tracing shapes with the freckles on her back.

take it easy dawg!!! ur best work comes from a rested body (at least, most of the time w me) dont forget to stretch ur hands before you draft stuff too!!

i first learned these kinds of stretches when i was working a pretty intense fast food position, but they still help with my own art process! We held each stretch for about 5-10 seconds, then did them a couple times over for about the first 5 minutes before each shift- but recover well!

Bad news everyone!

I’ve strained my hand from constant drawing and overworking.

I’ll be having to slow down on making comics and other stuff now, so my hand gets better and has time to heal.

However, I will be using this time to, instead of immediately drawing whatever random comic I have in my head, actually just writing down my ideas and planning them further.

I’m thinking it’ll probably end up giving you guys, my lovely audience, better comics anyways. Since I’ve been noticing a slow decline in the quality of my draftsmanship, embarrassing as it is to say..

I don’t think writing all the lettering by hand helped either, as I put a lot of pressure on my hands by doing that. So when I return I’ll probably have to start using text lettering instead for my own sanity.

I’m sure you’ll all understand! You’ve all been a great audience, when my hand gets better I’ll be back again (and hopefully with a better sleep schedule!)

gather around im gonna share a queentenna idea that has haunted me for the past few days

so basically it starts off with queen and tenna doing ~sexy wireplay~ for the first time up until queen opens up that panel and immediately goes Damn Bitch You Live Like This because it turns out Tenna’s cables look like a whole plate of spaguetti exploded inside him. it’s a mess

it turns out that back when tenna and spamton were still A Thing, Spamton didn’t really know what he was doing so he would always leave Tenna’s cables in disarray. and usually tenna would rearrange them himself but after the divorce he just. stopped caring altogether and didn’t trust anyone else to help him with it either so he just. forgot

back to the present tenna keeps insisting it’s no big deal, he’ll get to it later, Queen doesn’t have to worry about him but queen is NOT having it (and frankly as an electronic device herself she is. genuinely appalled tenna let it get this far but at the same time she’s also curious about how an older device like tenna is built like and she sees this as an opportunity to learn how he works. you know. for Purposes)

so what was supposed to be ~sexy wireplay time~ ends up being queen up to her elbows in Tenna’s chest cavity as she plays a YT tutorial on CRT maintenance while sipping battery acid and making observations out loud which is a lot less sexy than originally intended but at the same time a lot more intimate and tenna is just frozen the whole time bc he cannot DEAL
