☘ - How do you image their child would look like? 

Depending on his partner. I believe Shen’s child, while having his eyes, would look a little more like his partner, although they may favor Shen’s hairstyle a bit more.

Although, more than likely, Shen would prefer to adopt. He’s seen the orphans of a war torn country, he’s seen what they could become, depending on the hand that guides them. 

Even then, I believe any child that Shen would proudly call his own would take after him just a little. Even if they are not his by blood, they will always be his family.

Frustration

“The one time I’ve truly felt frustrated… was when Project Zed found out what emoji’s are…” he paused, looking crestfallen for a moment, his left eye twitching slightly. “He… He didn’t stop using them.” he sighed heavily a hand moving to pinch the bridge of his nose.

“He would project them above his helmet instead of speaking, I was ready to punch him… but seeing him happy with himself was cute.” the ninja covered his mouth with his fist, eyes closed. “So I was torn between the torment of constantly watching him display a thumbs up… or god forbid those sweat drops.” he shuddered with a soft blush.

Headcanons || Selectively Accepting.   ♥ - family headcanon

Shen never stopped seeing Zed as family, even after the death of his father. He still loved and cared for him, but felt as though it were his fault that he went astray.

These thoughts and feelings continued well past when his Zed passed away, which in turn led him to the Pulsefire sect, in a chance to jump through different timelines, trying to find a way to find ‘his’ Zed.

Headcanons || Selectively Accepting.  ♡ - romantic headcanon

Shen loves feeling secure with his lover. Hugs are adored, but his hair being pet makes him melt. He acts much like a puppy when his hair is pet, as he leans into it and lets out happy sighs.

Note; he will only do this with someone he loves. As there is a special level of trust there for him to let his guard down.

Shen let out a slow breath as he and Zed had finished sparring for the day, cuts and some minor bruises littered both of their tired forms. Zed was still breathing heavily before his posture relaxed and he let out his own slow breath. 

“You hit like a pile of bricks.” He complained. 

“Well, training does that to you.“ 

“Not to me.“ 

"Soon it will, everything will pay off you just have to trust me, and keep up with training…” he spoke softly, his hand moving to gently cup the others cheek, a soft smile on his masked lips. The other male let out a heavy sigh but none the less nodded at his lover’s wisdom, even if he didn’t agree on it. "Come on now, Zed, let’s patch you up.“ 

"You first, since your injuries are far less than mine." 

"If that’s the case let me-” he was cut off suddenly by Zed’s swift motion of tugging down his mask and silencing him with a kiss. 

“Let me take care of you for once, Shen.” He growled out, his brown eyes filled with conviction, he was not to be easily swayed.A chuckle escaped Shen, his eyes softening, 

“Okay… Just this once.”

He looked down at the white haired male beside him… Project Zed. It wasn’t ‘his’ Zed, he knew that for a fact between their differences but-… a faint smile crossed his unmasked lips, discarding his train of thought as his hand moved to pet the short locks of hair as he leaned down slightly to nuzzle against him.

“Are you warm enough?” He asked, soft concern in his tone. A grumble escaped the Project within his arms, causing the darker haired male to chuckle.

-||“You know I don’t get cold.”||- 

“I… I know.” He sighed, “it’s a force of habit.” He closed his glowing sapphire eyes, a content hum escaping him feeling the cold metal of his hands press against his cheek, lightly brushing some old scars across his face. 

“Zed…" 

-||“Yes?”||- 

“You’re my favorite person in the world.” He spoke earnestly, his eyes opening to meet the bright ruby of the Project’s. 

-||“I know, you’ve told me before.”||- 

“Have I also told you how I love you?“ 

The project’s cheeks turned stark red before he leaned up to nuzzle his nose against Shen’s.-||"Y-You have… but I still… enjoy hearing you say it.”||- 

“Then I will continue to say it…” he spoke softly, his hand moving to cup Zed’s cheek, “Until my last breath leaves my body…” he spoke softly before leaning in to press his lips against the others, hand gently running through the stark white locks of hair.

Nostalgic

Emotions. || Accepting.

Shen paused, his blue eyes closing at the question, a fond smile on his lips as he exhaled slowly the memories returning to him like the tide returning to the shore.

His most nostalgic moments always occurred when he visited the Sakura tree's in Ionia, there was a field of them near his home where him and Zed had grown up, the smell always made him feel safe and reminded him of happier times. When he and Zed were carefree.

"I have a portal that I can open to visit those fields anytime... I'm just hoping for the day I return, and he is also there... Perhaps then I can apologize for everything. And we can simply sit and watch the petals fall once again."
