Asclepias syriaca, or known by it’s common name milkweed, is known for it’s role in attracting butterflies.  The sap released from the leaves and stem is poisonous when consumed in large quantities resulting in kidney or liver failure, respiratory paralysis and death.

"And most importantly, stop getting rid of our friends!!! Baka Touya-kun!" And here you find an unhappy Yellow upon noticing there are less grunts in the castle.
You had one job, Touya. One job.

Touya was so stiff, wasn't he? He wasn't relaxed at all even though he was in the presence of the one girl he would always go to in the castle when he wanted to complain and forget his worries over a cup of tea. It was almost painful to think of it that way, but of course Yellow wasn't going to allow herself to feel bad when she knew it wasn't something Touya was doing on purpose. something had happened to him while he was away and left him in such a broken state, and it would be terrible of her if she were to allow herself to get angry at a dear friend of hers when surely it would of scared him immensely right now. Her companion needed care and attention in the highest regard, and he most certainly needed whatever wounds he had to be taken care of firstly. He also seemed to be a little bit thinner? Two weeks was enough to take a toll on the body of a young boy of 18, she knew, so perhaps he also wasn't eating right. Just what had happened to him to take such a toll on his mentality and leave him unable to eat or be near people in general? Worries piled up more and more as she followed after her fellow friend, not too close yet not too far away either and giving him the space he seemed to need right now as they began to walk faster over the bridge that led to White Forest where he lived. Amber pools stared at the taller's back, almost as if hoping if she stared enough she would be able to see what sort of wound was on his back if she stared hard enough to assess the situation... such didn't happen, of course, and before she knew it, the brunet had eventually spoken up to initiate some conversation. Surprising, really, considering how damaged he seemed to be but she wasn't going to complain any. To see he wasn't so scared of her that he wouldn't be able to hold a conversation was a good thing and meant he was able to hold a little bit of trust in her right now.
But of course he would bring up N. N was the number one most important thing to him, and Yellow knew this well and could see it in how he willingly and dutifully did everything he was told by the greenet. Albeit the man was demanding and childish, he was a good person underneath all of this... Though, it couldn't mean much from Yellow considering she even dared to try to see the good in Ghetsis. As much as the girl despised humans, she had grown to try and see good in people within Team Plasma considering they were aiming for a greater good that she hoped would eventually be achieved under the leadership of Lord N Harmonia. She believed in the older man's words just as much as her friend before her did, but in terms of who cared about him more on a more personal level... She knew Touya did. N was his everything, and without the king by his side, he would be nothing. It as such a fragile existence that could be brought to an end at any second if N got bored with the poor boy and this left him terrified, surely, but Yellow was confident N wouldn't ever do so. She could see it in those verdant pools N cared for Touya deeply and wouldn't want to replace him. Perhaps the whole reason as to why the man came back was for his dear knight he had missed in his absence... Who knew? But if he wanted to talk about the monarch to pass the time, she wasn't going to argue. Hearing the taller's voice in general was a good thing; she missed it.
A small smile tugged at the female's lips. "He is well, Touya-kun."
Though her words whispered 'he misses you'.
Tumblr media
"Bluebelle has been reminding him that he is not completely useless without you, so he has been studying as per usual." She reported, voice soothing and almost content as she spoke of the green haired man that shared similar abilities as she did. "It's been getting cold lately so he's been either in the throne room to speak with Reshiram in a rather childish fashion or in his room. I have been making his meals in your stead, since I know you probably would have wanted him to be eating well." He was doing more of complaining to Reshiram about being bored since his knight wasn't around to toy around with, truth be told. The legendary wasn't happy, but like the mother she was to him, she merely sighed and allowed him to faceplant into the downy feathers and fur of her tail and fall asleep there to sleep off the boredom. "He will be in good hands, and he will be in even better hands upon your return when you feel better." She was supposed to protect him from the shadows since she wasn't good with close combat, whereas Touya could do so. He was better for protection for N than she was, she wasn't going to deny this. All the more reason for him to get better and come back to being the knight he was, right?
She was following him, wasn’t she? Touya was scared to glance over his shoulder, he was scared to check and see that she was trailing after him and looking so terribly concerned that he couldn’t help but feel terribly bad for making her worry. It really hadn’t been his intention to worry anyone for he deemed himself as unworthy. Worry equaled kindness and affection, didn’t it? His mother had always told him that he was undeserving of those things; and even though he didn’t want to… part of him actually agreed with it. If he weren’t so despicable, maybe his life would have gone differently and he wouldn’t be so scared to accept Yellow’s help. Usually, he really really treasured the blonde. She was always nice and caring to him and around him, but in this very moment he was far too confused to make a proper decision, let alone find the courage to trust his friend.
Still, Touya kept walking, merely offering her a short nod that was barely visible to the fact that the collar of his jacket concealed the movement of his neck while he looked straight ahead, unwilling to let Yellow see any of the weakness lingering in his limbs. But Marvelous Bridge intimidated him, sending cold shivers down his spine as he unconsciously walked faster in hopes of avoiding any confused and prying eyes that might go his way. People were always curious if they saw someone feeling unwell, but no one cared or wanted to help as long as they were merely facing a stranger. Such was fine with Touya. He wouldn’t have accepted anyone’s help anyway, knowing that he couldn’t trust them. There was no telling who was a threat and who wasn’t! Maybe Yellow was none… He didn’t know, he only realised that he probably had to let her help him, otherwise she would only worry even more and that would be too bad since she was obligated to tell N about his state if the man found out that they had run into each other.
N… How was his Lord even holding up these days? The letters Bluebelle brought him were always vague and neutral, never about N in particular. The boy chewed harshly on his lower lip, suppressing the urge to whimper when he bit through the thin layer of skin, tasting copper on the tip of his tongue. “Ye- yellow—”
Tumblr media
He spoke up, his voice quiet and distant. It almost didn’t sound like him at all. “How is my Lord.” Bluebelle wouldn’t tell him anything, no matter how much he asked — not that he asked for very long considering everything tired him out; even this conversation and walk was so terribly exhausting. The knight wished to sleep; to sleep and not to wake up again. But he couldn’t do that. His master needed him working and functioning as it was a possession’s duty. What a bad possession he was. “…Do you keep an eye on his eating habits. Does he sleep at night— or- or take naps during daytime?” If only he could take care of all these things, but at the moment, it simply wasn’t possible. He couldn’t even take care of himself, after all.
Fortunately, the moment he dared to glance up and look at what was ahead, he had to realise that they would reach the end of the bridge in a few minutes of time. Then, it was only a short distance before they reached White Forest. Home. They were almost home.

Perhaps she was staring a bit too hard, but Yellow couldn't really help it right now. She couldn't help but watch the younger closely and watch every little movement he made. She was like this when she was wary of things, but being wary and worried were synonymous to one another and right now it was the latter. Something terrible had happened to her friend and had left him to take a leave away from the work he enjoyed doing so much for his Lord, and this in itself was enough to leave her more attentive than usual at his physical stature and the little reactions he gave. The quiet hiss he gave was one of them, and of course she couldn't help but bite back a flinch at the sound that worried her even more. She couldn't show any reactions now, knowing surely the littlest thing would scare him off, and therefore kept her composure despite the dominant part of her that couldn't even begin to describe the amount of fear and worry coursing through her body. Touya was mainly the only person she talked to, and if something worse happened to him because he was neglecting his on body, she wouldn't know what she'd do without him. He was very important to her even if they didn't talk very much because their work kept them apart, but they both knew that the other was on their mind on occassion given how Touya would leave her lunch boxes sometimes, and in return Yellow would leave tea or cookies at his workdesk when she knew it was the days where he would come to do paperwork. She kept his health in mind and would pick a certain tea depending on it-- Like for example, if he was tired, she would pick a tea that would perhaps bright him up a little.
Though, surely right now she would be needing something much stronger than tea to help her friend considering the state he was in right now. She had to take care of him immediately, and whatever injury was on his back. Perhaps he was harmed by a pokemon...? Who would leave marks on his back? That was the only conclusion she could come to, but only time would tell which was the truth and which was only her wishful thinking and whatnot. He looked so weak and fragile, and he needed to have his wounds dealt with. Maybe then... Maybe she could learn what had happened to him? Perhaps she could also ask his pokemon to see if they knew anything, particularly Bluebelle who she got along with very well for some reason. Then again, the small bird worried over her companion that worked for Team Plasma just as much as the Archer did so at least she knew there was one individual who would agree with her and perhaps give her some intel on what happened. Maybe if she knew, she could know how to help him and would be able to make him feel better over time. This was all her wishful thinking, of course, but the blonde wanted to stay hopeful in being able to be of use to her friend.
She wanted him to be okay again; to be normal Touya again that loved his work.
Tumblr media
Touya was growing herbs...? Oh, she didn't know! Then again, he was a skilled chef considering how she had received food from him in the past. She was about to comment on it, but the older started turning to walk away and the shorter jumped a bit before following after-- Not too close, of course. She didn't want to scare him anymore than she apparently already had. "Ah-- Alright, Touya-kun!" she answered. "Then we'll go to your house and I'll take care of you."
Yellow… wouldn’t hurt him, would she? The girl was always so gentle and kind, she always treated him nicely and fairly, as if he deserved the kindness she displayed and radiated in the castle. There was a reason why people called her the princess for she was such a kind soul, warmhearted and always willing to heal the brokenness she encountered in Pokémon. But would she do the same for him? Touya knew that the girl didn’t have many nice experiences with people, at least not before she came to this castle and decided to serve their Lord with the utmost dedication the blonde could usher up. Part of the knight admired her for she never failed to bring smiles to wherever she went, but he also knew that it was more important to be feared and respected. The way she acted would only get her underestimated, after all.
Not that he was particularly worried about those trivial things. His mind was running in circles, pacing back and forth in hope of finding a way to escape this terrible fear that lingered around and had a firm grasp on his entire being. Even though it was Yellow, he was still so broken and scared that the older girl would hurt him if he acted up and upset her. She was his friend… But Kurogane had been his friend, too. Could he even trust anyone at all? While he knew his Pokémon wouldn’t intentionally hurt him, he couldn’t say the same about Yellow. She was still a human, after all. It had to be clear in the way he behaved since she spoke in such a soothing manner that he almost would have dared meeting her gaze a second time, but instead he only clenched his hands into tight fists and dug his nails into the palms of his hands, although the action made him hiss ever so weakly due to the strained skin around his wrists, hidden underneath the bandages as well as the cuffs of his jacket sleeves.
How much longer would these marks linger? So much time had already passed, shouldn’t they have long since healed? Part of him knew that it was his own fault that everything healed so slowly — someone who didn’t eat, couldn’t have the strength to heal… The boy ducked his head, shivering weakly under her attentive eyes. Accepting her help… he wouldn’t regret that, would he? “I- I guess…” he muttered emptily, although he hesitated for several moments before he stood up and nervously glanced around. He… didn’t feel comfortable here. Maybe Yellow was right and it was the best decision to go home…
Tumblr media
"You- you should find herbs behind my cabin, I’m growing some…" At least, they should be there if none of his Pokémon have decided to eat them. Still, he couldn’t look at Yellow. Tempted to mutter quiet apologies, the boy started walking, absentmindedly hugging himself as he approached the entrance to Marvelous Bridge.

He had flinched at her words now. Still though, despite the worrying lingering heavily on her mind for the mental stability of her friend right now, Yellow remained calm and kept a close eye on him. Amber pools that gleamed like gold in the sunlight met empty hazel for just a mere moment, but Touya didn't seem to have the willpower to meet her gaze for more than a few seconds before he allowed his gaze to drift back down. A dull pain hit her chest at the sight. Such a look in his eyes was painfully familiar-- something she had seen so many times before on pokemon in her home forest when they came back from being attacked by humans that were unsuccessful in capturing them. Had someone hurt him? She didn't want to believe it since she was a truthful person and if N ever inquired as to what was wrong with him, she would tell him what she thought and seen in his dear knight that usually carried himself so strong and proud... At least on the surface anyway. Yellow knew better than anyone that he had his reasons as to why he acted such a way, and it wasn't because he was someone that was naturally haughty and whatnot. She knew he could be innocent minded in nature, and he usually was when they were around each other because she treated him so kindly but right now... Touya was no such thing. He was broken, terrified to even talk to one of his few friends he knew he could trust when Yellow of all people wasn't one for betrayal of any kind. Her foster mother, Kangaskhan, had always taught her to be kind to the sad and broken because they surely didn't feel as if they deserved it and only a person like her would be able to feel as if they deserved it.
The archer stood next to these beliefs wholeheartedly to this day and wanted to care for her companion that she knew would always care for pokemon in the same manner her and N Harmonia did. He was a nice person underneath all that brokenness and the instability he had which was clear in the way he finished his missions. She wasn't going to judge him for what he did, but for the reason behind it-- He was loyal, he cared about pokemon, and he cared about his Lord and believed in him. That was all Yellow needed to care for him as much as she did now. She wouldn't ever want to do anything aside from make him happy, this was for certain.
Let alone hurt him as he was asking her right now, causing her brows to arch slightly. She was tempted to ask him why he would assume such a thing, but of course the words he said next caught her attention even more and were highly worried. Having an infection was never a good thing, and she knew this well having grown up in a forest and whatnot. Immediately, the smaller girl nodded quickly, continuing to eye him quietly as she shyly bent forward to try and meet his gaze that was still lowered towards the ground. If he was infected, she was the best person to take care of it considering her skills and knowledge on certain subjects.
"I would never hurt you a day in my life, Touya."
Tumblr media
"Well, anyway... We should... go to your house then, right, Touya-kun? On the way there I would be able to find some herbs." This would be able to surely take care of whatever wound was on his back. Her worries about what had happened to him could come later, but right now she was going to take care of him first before he got physically sick. Being mentally sick right now was bad enough, wasn't it?
He couldn’t change the fact that his sholders were still trembling, even after he had long since stopped speaking, almost fearing that Yellow would scold him now. She couldn’t be happy with his explanation, right? It was so vague and not revealing anything of what had happened. Touya was used to people asking questions. And while he usually didn’t mind answering them, even after getting hurt, he… couldn’t do the same this time. Downplaying his condition was already hard enough; there was no telling how miserable he would look like if he were to tell the truth. Not to mention, wouldn’t Yellow have to tell their Lord? He couldn’t let this happen. The knight knew his Lord better than anyone else did in the castle. He knew that N would have Kurogane executed some way or another. The boy couldn’t let this happen, no. No matter how badly Kurogane had hurt him, he was still… still his friend and important to him. Touya wanted nothing more than go back to normal with the swordsman, but even he knew that such was near impossible with the way things currently were.
Nor could he even tell if his alternate wouldn’t want to play a game again. But if he did— there was no other way for him but to play along, right? Kurogane had already proven once that he was stronger than him, he really didn’t want to make his friend unhappy when his happiness was so important to him—
He would rather take more pain and humiliation instead.                                                                               That meant he was a good friend, didn’t it?
Still, Yellow’s argument made him flinch and actually glance up the shortest of moments; dull hazel eyes meeting amber optics before he lowered his gaze again, shuddering under the weight of his own words. She… she was right. Usually he wouldn’t let anything stop him from fulfilling his duties, no matter how much moving hurt. In those cases it always had to be N who sent him either to his room or told him to stay away from the castle until he felt better. But he couldn’t admit it! What if she scolded him, what if he angered her— She said she cared for him, but Kurogane had said the same, yet here he was now. With injuries that didn’t want to heal and a broken self. Touya whimpered, almost tempted to cower more and clutch his head with both hands, but instead he simply proceeded to hug himself fearfully.
Tumblr media
"…Y-you won’t- you won’t hurt me?" For most it would probably be an offensive and insulting question, but to Touya, it currently meant the world since her answer would decide what kind of actions the boy might take. "I- I’m… my back hurts. It m-might be infected, Yellow." He was still so frightened, yet this was Yellow. She was his friend, she always took care of him and wanted him to smile. She… couldn’t mean him any harm, right? It wouldn’t be a mistake to trust her, would it?

Touya wasn't the first person to show such fear to her, unfortunately. Living in Viridian Forest years ago, she had constantly came upon humans that were stupid enough to wander into her home even after being warned of the Demon that lurked inside and the fear on their face once they realized their mistake was always the same. She knew the signs of a person that was scared and knew something bad was about to happen to them, for the blonde had become unforgiving to people who constantly treated her friends and family like trash to where they needed to feel the same pain and suffering as she had. They needed to feel the loss of people disappearing from their lives as she did, they needed to feel the same worthlessness she did when she had to watch some she cared deeply for to come back injured or hurt for whatever reason. Humans were merciless, and she wasn't an exception... Though she wasn't human. She was a Demon; a monster. And she knew this.
But towards Touya, she never wanted to be considered a monster as she was with people back in her home region. She would never want to harm someone that held the same beliefs as she did and wanted pokemon to live a better life. They had a common understanding in that regard, and she knew a troubled soul with a terrible past when she saw one considering she was the very same in that regard. She was always tugged towards broken souls, one of the main reasons why she was so dedicated to serving N Harmonia since they held a similar past that they both didn't want to look back on for a number of reasons.
Touya was no exception. She could always see there was something he was hiding that left him the way she was, and something inside of him had broken even more to leave him like this.
Tumblr media
"Touya-kun, you know if you were just a little hurt, then you would still work because you're stubborn." Yellow pointed out softly, keeping her voice as gentle as possible as she watched the younger male carefully. "Are you truly alright? If I can help you in any way, please let me... I care for you a lot."
Touya could feel the older’s gaze resting on his frame, probably looking for hints and signs of what had happened to him since he hadn’t mentioned a single thing in his letter. Only saying that he requested a break and that he would attempt to resume his position and work as soon as possible. Hah, how pathetic he was, still completely unable to pick up on his duties since he couldn’t even take care of himself. How fortunate he was that his companions remained so closely by his side, worried and concerned for his state of mind. Bluebelle even flew to the castle every single day to check on his Lord and keep him company. Of course the tiny bird couldn’t replace his presence, but at least she could entertain him for a few hours before she returned home and scolded him for not having eaten at all during her absence.
Yellow would reprimand him too if she knew that he had barely taken care of himself the last weeks, huh? Aside from taking care of his injuries, he hadn’t paid attention to his body needs in the slightest, simply wasting time by hiding under the covers of his bed because he couldn’t bring himself to do anything at all.
He was scared.                        He knew that it was wrong of him.                                                                           But he couldn’t shake off this paralyzing feeling.
At least she kept her voice low, making it possible for him not to flinch at the sound while his nails dug weakly into the fabric of his jacket. Anyone passing by must have thought that he wasn’t fully right in the head, being so scared of a small and delicate girl such as Yellow was…
Tumblr media
Even though his hand trembled so terribly, Touya still raised a hand to tug his hat deeper into his face, deliberately avoiding to glance in Yellow’s rection. As much as he liked her, she was… he didn’t know how to act in her presence. “…’m fine,” a shaky laugh, “Only got a little hurt.” Yes, make her worry the less as possible. The less worried people were, the lower the chance of getting hurt was. “I’ll c-come back soon. I- I need to apologise to Lord N f-for being so inconvenient…”

Nepeta faassenii (cat-mint)
The violet tubular flowers “cat-mint” usually have scented leaves when they bloom in spring. It has traditionally been used as a remedy for cold and flus. Common symptoms if ingested are stomach pains and diarrhoea. If ingested by cats, it will have the same affect as to what humans have with cannabis.

Something was wrong with her friend, wasn't there? There was something so terribly wrong with him that made him have to skip out of the work he enjoyed doing so much because he cared for his Lord so much. Yellow was getting more worried as seconds ticked by, amber pools watching the taller in confusion and blatant worry as she scanned over him. The girl always had keen eyes because she was an archer, thus having to notice things from a far distance at times. When closer to people, it was even easier to notice things about them-- And something was wrong with her friend for sure. He tugged the cuffs of his jacket down... Was he hiding something? Her attention flicked to said place on the other's body for a moment before allowing her gaze to lift to his face. Ah, how worried the poor blonde was for Touya...
Just what had happened during his time away from the castle to leave him in such a state? Better her seeing him this way instead of N, for surely he would have been worried sick and demanded too much at one time from the boy. She knew the king worried a lot for Touya even if he didn't show it, and if he were to be hurt by someone... N would have him killed without even batting an eyelash. She was only worried about him more than who might have hurt him if her assumption was correct, but assuming would get her nowhere. She would tread with caution.
Arceus knows how he'd react to every little thing if he was flinching around a girl he knew wouldn't be able to hurt a fly-- Unless it was hurting her friends or her Lord, that is. She was protective and wouldn't bother to hide her nature as the Demon of Viridian Forest if need be, and everyone knew this to be true. Hence as to why she was on the same level of skills as Touya was.
Tumblr media
"Touya, it is alright... I can handle it with no trouble at all and you know this." She whispered soothingly. "Are you okay? You don't sound as if you're doing too well..." Mentally, that is.
No. No, this was bad. She was worried. Worry was always the first step to unhappiness. And unhappiness was always the first step to frustration and anger — both only got him hurt. Always, always. Either to disciple him or for amusement’s sake, it didn’t matter why. Fact was that it happened. Over and over until he finally couldn’t take it anymore, far too broken by Kurogane’s actions. The rational part of his brain knew that Yellow wouldn’t ever hurt him. He was stronger than her, she was physically only a little girl — dangerous with a bow, but that aside even he was able to pick her up and carry her around.
Though… in the state he was in, he was probably far too weak to do that. Not that he wanted to. It hurt when people touched him. It hurt when people came to close to him, the thought was enough to have him tense.
Tumblr media
Shifting weakly where he sat on the bench, the boy tugged repeatedly at his sleeves until he pulled them over his wrists. No, no, he couldn’t let anyone see the bandages. He didn’t need questions. He didn’t need to look even more pathetic in front of Yellow’s eyes. “I- I’m sorry—” he stammered again, taking a quick breath before he moved his eyes, now staring at his own lap while he almost seemed to cower in fear. “…I’m sorry f-for placing m-my duties on you.”
Touya could feel himself breathing harsher, clearly affected by the discomfort running through his system. But he needed to calm down! It was… it was only Yellow, she wouldn’t hurt him. But would she really? He had thought the same of Kurogane, too.
Now look how ruined he was.

It had been so long since she had saw her fellow Plasma companion lately, she noticed, and for a while the girl had been asking herself if something was wrong. It wasn't until she was summoned by her Lord that she came to the realization that something was wrong. Their Lord wasn't too happy considering the look on his face, and Zoroark's words didn't exactly calm her any. From what she had been told, Touya wasn't feeling well and was taking a temporary leave.
However, Yellow knew Touya well just as N did at this point. She knew the taller boy wouldn't dare to take absence from the job unless something was terribly wrong and though she wanted to go and ask him what was wrong, she knew she had to take care of N since he would want that.
But now fate had brought them together, and now that she was looking at him and listened to how he was talking... She realized that, yes, there was something terribly wrong with her friend. What had happened to Touya, she wondered?
Tumblr media
"You're... Sorry?" she inquired nervously. "B-But you did nothing wrong, Touya-- I've just been worried about you since you haven't been around..."
So far, he had been lucky. No one seemed to take any interest into the pathetic-looking boy that sat so quietly on the bench, gaze directed at his feet and trembling lightly whenever people passed by. He wanted to go home, he wanted to hide in his bed as he had done the last few days, but his Pokémon friends expected him to go shopping—
How should he even do that when he couldn’t bear the thought of entering Nimbasa in the first place.
Suddenly a voice — familiar, confused and curious, yet loud enough to startle him into flinching and ducking his head. If he hadn’t bit his lower lip, Touya was sure that even tears would have gathered in his eyes.
Tumblr media
"…Y-yellow—" Oh no, his voice sounded so weak. Even if it was Yellow, he couldn’t handle looking at her and simply kept his gaze lowered while he fidgeted with his jacket sleeve in a jittery fashion. "I- I’m— nnn, I’m sorry."

Wow, she had actually bothered to go to a city for once.
While being in one wasn't like the young archer given the fact she wasn't used to many people and would much rather hide in her forests and be among her pokemon friends, Yellow went when necessary when it was important to her duties in the castle. She had gone to Castelia to get some supplies for her tea interests and also take care of her Lord since Touya hadn't been around--
Ah, but wasn't that him right there? What was he doing outside of Nimbasa?
Tumblr media
"Touya-kun...?" Yellow spoke up as she neared the taller boy. "Our Lord told me you took a temporary leave-- How have you been?"
Tumblr media
Wow, he actually left his cabin.
But his steps barely got him close to Nimbasa City before he had to take a stop and sit down on a nearby bench, staring emptily into the distance. Still no change in how he felt, huh? Touya heaved a deep sigh and tugged the collar of his jacket higher.

So her father cut her hair? Yellow was a bit jealous considering she never really grew up with one, but of course she wasn't going to be mean with green envy about it. She was much too kind for that, and Blue seemed to be happy to talk about him. "My hair is like the sun...?" Cue a soft smile. "Thank you, that makes me happy-- Though, how come you don't want hair like mine anymore?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-a wide grin formed on the brunette’s lips as yellow complimented her bangs.- My papa does it for me! Sometimes I do it myself but most the time papa does it. But yours is so bright and shiny!! Like the sun! I like it a lot Yellow! I used to want hair like yours when i was a little younger..

Yellow as happy, to say the least, that Touya was daring to be complacent with her request right now and accompany her back to the castle. To be honest, to stay by herself all the time lately while the older was away doing work for their demanding king was a bit lonely and she had to miss the older boy when he wasn't around. She wouldn't dare say so to hinder him from his work, so coming upon Touya-- albeit while he was drunk and clearly underage-- was a good thing right now and she wasn't going to allow the chance to slip through her fingers! Not only that, but Touya wasn't in a state to take care of himself and luckily she had the best mother skills thanks to her own foster mother that happened to be a Kangaskhan and therefore the most ideal pokemon mother aside from perhaps the Chansey evolutions, but even then, they couldn't compare to the lengths a mother Kangaskhan would go to protect her children and Yellow accepted on such thoughts. While Touya wasn't her child, she still wanted to protect him and make sure he was safe at all times.
The two of them were friends, after all, and she wanted to make sure he was safe and could protect him if need be. While she may have seemed small and the one that needed to be protected instead, she was more than capable of taking care of herself considering she was known as the so called 'Demon of Viridian Forest'. Though, thankfully she seemed to find him before he got into any real trouble and he was actually bothering to follow her when she pulled him along-- However eventually she came to a stop when she felt the knight hug her from behind and nuzzle into the back of her hair, causing Yellow to squeak quietly in surprise. That wasn't something she was expecting!
Tumblr media
"I-- No, Touya-kun, it's alright..." she muttered under her breath, offering a quiet and almost timid giggle moments later. "But wouldn't it be better if I could turn around and return the hug...?" She liked hugs just as much as the next person, after all, and hugs were always warm with Touya in particular; that's how she knew he was a kind person underneath everything.
Even if he didn’t want to sleep again, Touya still wanted to go home and be a good boy right now. If he didn’t, Yellow would end up worrying and he couldn’t have that! She might get upset, and then what? He really really liked Yellow and treasured their friendship, of course he didn’t want to put a strain on it when for once things were going well for him. Such friendships were rare, after all! At least for someone as usually terrible as him. No one wanted to be his friend for very long. They all ditched him or got scared; part of him didn’t expect it any differently considering te things he did for his precious Lord. But right now when his guard was down so much, the brunet felt hurt. “Hnn.” Touya squeezed his eyes shut once the girl reached for his hair, once again holding still and simply letting her act without being wary in the slightest.
Ah, another kiss! That was nice… With his blush deepening slightly in colour, the knight didn’t let go of Yellow’s hand, thus stumbling after her when she started walking. “Sleepover, huh… Sounds fun! I- ‘m looking forward to the sleepover now,” Touya mumbled quietly to himself than to anyone in general while he followed the blonde slowly, often having to slow down or else he would have tripped over his own feet. “‘ellow, wait—”
Tumblr media
Merely waiting for the girl to pause in her steps, Touya already reached out and wrapped his arms around her frame, nuzzling contently the back of her head. “Hug. ♪ I wanted to hug ‘ellow, tha’s okay, righ’?”

Sigh... Being in cities like Castelia was admittedly never much fun for the poor girl that was so used to forests and wildlife. No one could blame her, of course, since she was born and raised in a forest with nothing but pokemon and to be around so many people was terribly exhausting!! Luckily the archer had finished up her work in this terrible place and was about to go home with Chuchu that was walking at her side as they headed north towards the exit to head towards Nimbasa before going to Nimbasa and taking a more scenic route back to the castle but--
Alas, someone stole her hat off her head. What in the world was that for?
Tumblr media
The blonde spun, golden optics meeting azure blue for a moment before the shorter hesitantly spoke up while pointing to her straw hat in the taller's hands. "Miss, uhm... May I have my hat back?"

What if Yellow and N kind of grew up together in the same forest when they were younger
because Ghetsis found him in a forest with pokemon and all you know but it never said which specific forest and it would make sense and whatnot that he would live there with yellow since he had the same abilities but then Ghetsis found him one day while Yellow was off to get him something and by the time she came back he was gone.

Blackandyellowshipping coffee au, ya dig
‘I hate this place' Touya would say every time he entered the coffee shop and slipped into his apron, greeting his coworkers with a short nod, while Yellow watched from her own register, sitting on the stool he had built for her. She knew him so well by now that every time she saw him in a bad mood, she would slip encouraging messages into his snack bag and giggle happily when he sputtered in embarrassment. It was always worth it, especially when she managed to spot one of his rare smiles moments later; genuine, innocent and definitely not at all like the bad person he presented himself to be.
