Boots crunched in the snow, leaving footprints in the white blanket that coated everything. A winter storm was brewing nearby, and fast approaching. Thankfully they had gotten everything they needed before hand, this probably being their last trip until spring.

As they approached their cabin that was dead set in the middle of the woods, they noticed something,, off. There was dread in the air, tense, full of suspension. They,, didn’t like it. However, nothing seemed out of place. Even the door was lock as they had it.

They stomped their boots off, ridding it of the snow, before unlocking the door. They tumbled in, being greeted to the warm fire that crackled in the fire place. Normally they wouldn’t question it but,, they remembered putting the fire out. Or, did they?

They couldn’t remember. Their tired mind wouldn’t allow them too. They kicked their boots off, let their groceries drop, and fell back on the couch. Enjoying the-

They got up upon hearing a clutter. They growled, going towards the source of the sound, finding it coming from their own bedroom. They snuck inside, seeing a silhouette rummaging in their drawers.

Obsession

Something about you made their heart pump. Pump even faster than it normally does. Not to mention being around you made butterflies in their stomach. Oh, they were addicted to it, to the feeling that you gave them constantly whenever you two were in the same room.

Either it be in the cafeteria or just doing a task in the same room, those feelings would come. They couldn’t place their finger on it, nor they didn’t want to. They knew it was wrong, especially in this amount. They had dedicated a whole section to you in their closet. Pictures of you and little notes here and there.

They want you in their arms, to run their fingers through your locks. It pained them to see you with other people, your so called “crewmate.” That was complete hogwash, knowing there is an imposter among, lurking. Despite them just being an engineer, they would kill it. Only if they knew it would come to that.

And only if they knew you would be in their arms very soon, yes. They honestly couldn’t wait til the day they would have you.. which wasn’t long at all.

Sharp teeth sliced into the soft delicate flesh of my shoulder, marking the already bruised skin. Crimson dripped from the open wound only for a hot tongue to wash over it, lapping up the blood, bringing a stinging sensation at it’s wake.

Heavy, labored breaths escaped me. Despite how bad I wanted to whimper, whine,, and scream, I fought the urge. Anything to not indulge their sweet sickly pleasures. Oh how they couldn’t wait until you woke up.

And when you did, oh how ecstatic they were, knowing they were the first thing you saw when you came back to the world of the living after leaving the world of slumber. They could easily see your confused, shocked, and dare they say terrified expression once you saw them despite the darken room.

“N..Noodle?”

Your voice took the air out of their lungs. Oh how much they loved your voice. Hearing it, it sent them soaring… despite your voice sounding more tired and weary than they would’ve liked. They simply tilted their head as you reached for the lamp, lost in your beauty. They were quick to snap out of their thoughts however as your hand got a little too close to the string that turned it on.

They were quick to reach for your hand and pin it down on the nightstand, a scared, terrified expression on their face. Don’t turn the light on they thought, a bead of sweat rolling down their forehead. Not yet. They didn’t want you to see the mess they were still. They cursed themselves for not cleaning the blood off before they snuck in, before they wired your door open.

“Noodle, what’s wrong?…” You asked, your tone oh so soft to them, completely ignoring the obvious fear in your voice. Never in the time you have known the sweet, empty headed crewmate act so… off? And the usual welcoming silence that came from them was now cold, eerie. It was far from welcoming. Instead, they just stared at you, unmoving and with such intensity that you could practically feel it.

How couldn’t they? You just looked so pretty under them. Oh, it was like a fairytale, a dream that they couldn’t grasp for so long until the right moment. Now that they had you in their grasp, they couldn’t let go of you. It honestly felt like a dream they would wake up from any second.

They couldn’t help but cup your face in the most gentle way with their free hand, completely ignoring the fact it was covered in blood. But the way you grimace under their touch, feeling their cold, wet hand, smelling the familiar iron made them stop. The grin and love sick expression dropped. They were practically frozen. You weren’t sure, but you swear you saw an heartbroken expression on their face.

You tried to call their name, asking what’s wrong, but it again fell upon silent ears. It only caused you to panic more. This wasn’t- like them at all. Fear began to set in. It wasn’t until you squirmed when you actually got an reaction from them, and a not so pleasant one.

Through the darkness, you heard a growl, one practically in your ear, one that made your blood run cold, one that stopped your movements completely fearing the worst. It didn’t help that you smelled an awfully familiar scent of iron on them,, all over them,,

Silent gray eyes watched you carefully, almost unmoving. Noodle waited months to get you, to have you right in their arms. The exact place they wanted you to be. They were ecstatic to say the least. Their plan worked, and yet you had no idea, blissfully unaware what they had to do to have you.

Throughout all the planning, the disappearances, the killings, you were so blissfully unaware. Blissfully unaware that they were doing this - all for you. It honestly amused them really, how dense you truly were. You even put them to shame, being the known “leader” of the crew while they… they were the one that constantly ran into things on a daily basis so to speak.

However, no matter. That part really didn’t matter to them. All it did was make their goal a little bit easier. Didn’t want their precious darling dove scream and kick at them, and rat on them. No that couldn’t do. They spent so much time, did so much not even the holy ones would forgive them. So you being blissfully unaware was a good thing.

Even right now as they watched you sleep with careful, soft eyes. Didn’t even know they snuck in and just plopped down at the foot of your bed. Or the fact you two are the last remainder of the crew on this god forsaken ship.

Oh how they couldn’t wait until you woke up.
