Hey so the world's vibe kinda feels off (euphemism)? I'll be honest with you, making comics that discuss trans-related news isn't my favourite. I'd rather work on silly inconsequential stories.

Every day, it's something else. A constant state of emergency. So I keep pushing every other project aside because it's the responsible thing to do. I see the anxiety and the panic in my communities, and my goal is to at least ease some of it by creating art that might resonate and put some order in all that chaos. I hope my work remains useful to you in that way.

And I keep working out of spite. They want us exhausted, overwhelmed and hopeless. And that's a good enough reason for me to keep fighting back.

A whole year ago, I shared with you that my government would only let me keep drawing comics as a job if I contributed to a monthly retirement fund. For that to be possible, I had to double the amount of Patreon subscribers I had, and we made that happen. However, 12 months later, several of my subscribers have (very understandably, especially in the economical context) decided to pass the torch, and we're basically back at last year's situation.
