Morgana walks in, about to announce herself, but is startled to see a teary and visibly exhausted peasant woman talking emphatically, though in hushed tones, to a disconcerted and tense Gaius. On the patient bed, which Morgana would sometimes sit on during her visits, is a small bundle that, with a start, she comes to realize is a very small, scrawny, sickly little boy. She freezes in her spot, surprised and feeling a little awkward, and goes unnoticed for a while yet. And then the little boy opens his eyes slowly, and Morgana can’t help her small gasp at the deep blue irises that meet her own grey ones. It’s then that she is noticed, and both Gaius and the peasant woman pale in fear and surprise at her presence.

tenses will be the death of me

in other news, these works are taking longer than expected bc my spoons are Very Low and won’t cooperate, but i’m quite invested in getting them done no matter how long they take

this one in particular may end up being more than one part, depending on how much i expand it, but it may also not be written out in full - sometimes not!fics are just easier

henlo, i’m pom, and i’m new to bbc merlin!

which like, super late ik seeing as the show ended in 2012 i think and it’s been wow literally 10 years holy shit what even is the passage of time?? 

i knew of the show but not till a few years after it was over (not that i knew this at the time) and only succumbed to actually watching it bc for some reason youtube recommended introduced me to lancelot and then gwaine

as far as watching i’m almost done with season 1 but a lot of major stuff from the whole show was spoiled to me (not that i completely understand all of it) bc i opted for reading and watching merlin stuff before actually watching the show which i only decided to do bc there’s a horrendous lack of gwaine content out there and i’m ready to binge 5 seasons just to inhale every last limited second of his presence 

anyone want to be friends lol
