Thank you @kyri45 for making this wonderful AU! I’ve been tuning in since November and this has given me something to look forward to every other day since. Your work and ideas are so inspirational and I cannot be more grateful for the impact this has been on the LMK community. Looking forward to whatever else you may cook up in the future!

I came up with a neat idea earlier and decided to make it, and I’m actually quite proud of how it turned out. So, here’s one of my favorite scenes in Monkie Kid combined with the “If We’re Gonna Play Owl House” track from TOH S2 soundtrack. Enjoy <3

It is currently 12:40 AM and my brain has decided to keep me up with thoughts on a possible s4 episode plot.

So MK gets tired of Wukong and Macaque’s shit, and decides to do something to either make them stop fighting, or to help them make up with each other. Or, even better, both.

And he comes up with an idea.

With help from Red Son and Mei, they all lock Wukong and Macaque in a completely empty room and tell them on an intercom that they won’t let them out until they get their shit together and try not to kill each other for five minutes.

And then the whole episode pans out to be kind of like a time-span thing that sometimes plays out in cartoons. At certain points the screen cuts to black showing what hour the two of them are at in the room. During that specific hour they could be completely silent, bantering with each other, or getting into an emotional argument. I hope this makes at least a little bit of sense

..They end up being locked in there for almost a whole day before they finally start opening up and actually talking without being at each other’s throats. After a very emotional and tender moment they hug it out and Wukong asks MK if they can be let out. But they end up sitting there for a bit longer until MK finally answers and lets them out. Turns out he didn’t even hear Wukong before because he, Mei and Red Son all fell asleep because they were taking so damn long

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s thought about this, I just like thinking about this possibility and the chaos it could bring

okay i’ve thought about this constantly and i could be entirely wrong but,

What if like, the actor of Wukong in the Monkey Cop movies isn’t actually Wukong.

I mean Wukong probably isn’t acting in them either way because of his popularity, but hear me out. What if, the actor of Wukong in the movies is Macaque in disguise?

We already know Macaque can disguise himself and/or shapeshift into Wukong (seen in Shadow Play), so it’s entirely possible. What would motivate him to do something like that though is unclear. Could be because he was simply bored or because he wanted to mess with Wukong and see how he reacted. It would be in character for him though, at least in my opinion.

Thank you Billy Kametz, for everything. Thank you for bringing characters to life that many people can relate to or see themselves in. Thank you for playing as my favorite six eared monkey and bringing him to life with your amazing voice. But most of all, thank you for being you. I didn’t know you personally, and I’m sure I can say that for a lot of people. But I know you were a wonderful and incredibly kind person. Thank you for bringing smiles to people’s faces in our darkest times, including my own. Thank you for shining like a bright light in our dark world.

It’s sad to see you being taken away from us so early. But you fought hard. And you were a warrior until the very end. Rest well, Billy. You will be missed. 💜

picture this: an episode in season 4 where mk gets curious about what the hell happened between wukong and macaque. he asks them and of course they’re both hesitant and don’t say much. so mk decides to turn to a radical solution, which leads to the three of them going into either wukong or macaque’s mind. kinda like an Understanding Willow or Hollow Mind situation depending on certain reveals and twists. by the end of it (of course, depending on certain reveals), wukong and macaque actually start to talk things out and agree that it’s possible they could try again. it might be rocky at first, and they might not entirely forgive each other for what they’ve done, but it will be a start.

Finally finished this illustration! I started this after watching episode 6 and it was my prediction for what would happen at the end of Season 3. Obviously, that’s not what happened, but I wanted to finish this regardless because I still think this was a good idea. Plus I’m very happy with how it came out!
