If you could pick one person to remove from your lived experience of the world, who would it be? They'd still exist, but you'd never have to see or interact with them again. Nor hear or even think of them, if you so chose.

At the moment? Probably Fire. She's the Alpha Rapidash that likes to roam the Fieldlands, and I don't think she likes me. I'm kinda scared of her, honestly. It seems unfair, but if she could just stay completely fine but I wouldn't have to worry about her... that might be good.

And yeah, there's a lot of stuff that's happened to us. Some before Labyrinthia, some after. Some of it we don't talk about for privacy reasons or other reasons - but hey, ask me how I met the professor some time!

We've seen it, me and the professor. We don't really talk about it, and it's entirely possible it only happened because of a very specific set of circumstances and won't happen again.

Adaman thinks I'm a time traveller. I really hope he's wrong. I don't see how I could be, though - this world is very different to my own.

Also, he's implied this 'frenzy' thing is happening with more than one of the Nobles, which is kinda worrying. Means there's probably something more happening there, as well…

So apparently one of the other Nobles, Kleavor, was struck by lightning and has since been lashing out in a frenzy. I've been sent to try and figure out how to calm him down.

I really do like being part of the Survey Corps, I think. There's a lot of people in this village for whom the solution is automatically fighting, but the Survey Corps instead try and understand. That's literally our job. It's perfect for someone like me.

Kricketune has been reunited with their family!

To tell the truth, I was pretty scared when I was talking to them, but I couldn't just leave them. You don't solve problems by fighting them, you solve them by understanding them. Or at least I do, and so does the professor.

...My professor. Not Laventon. I don't know what Laventon would do.

I think Akari found the video function by accident

[A video is attached. The camera is shaking, and not entirely centred, but you can still see what is happening. There is slightly panicked breathing seemingly coming from the person holding the device.

There is an Alpha Kricketune in the centre of a large clearing, with red eyes glowing and making quite a lot of noise. And there is a small boy in a blue cap walking up to it, recognisable to some as Luke Triton.

"Luke, what are you doing?" Akari's voice whispers as loud as she dares.

Luke ignores her. Instead, he looks to the Kricketune.

"I'm here to help," he says.

The Kricketune's head swings towards him, ready to fight.

"Calm down," Luke says, voice almost steady. "I can help you find your family."

The Kricketune hisses, but doesn't move.

"Wait, what's-" Akari says.

The professor's joined me, Mai, and Akari, and we're about to see the Alpha Mai's been talking about. Apparently it's sitting in her Noble's home and she wants us to drive it out.

...This is kind of normal, actually. I wonder...

Okay, I'm back, briefly. To clarify, I'm fine, but Akari is telling me never to do that again. I think she's going to launch into even more of a lecture when I don't have a large Kricketune depending on me to find their family – but for now, Akari thinks she might know where to look.
