Groupchat was doing oc fursonas. Lark is a Great Pyrenees and Maris was supposed to be a red kite but the markings turned out a little more red-tailed hawk

I never draw anthros but these were kinda fun

maris is so cool... what does her voice sound like

Actually I'm glad you asked, because she's a RARE one of mine I have a defined voice for Maris started as a Rogue Trader character and I really like the voice I picked, even if the lines are basically nothing (Bold Female voice). She might have a bit of Caitlyn Arcane as well. Basically, fairly neutral British accent, goes surprisingly deep for being kind of a short lady.

Her natural accent is actually closer to this (The Expanse) but she was made to learn a standardized accent as part of her officer training, and it stuck. Can and does slip back into the the Belter creole if she's been around her sister a lot.

My favorite part of making these: fabric sculpting.

I guess I settled on this pose for now. It’s fairly simple and hopefully won’t be too bad to cut up and key for assembly

Also including my original turnaround just since I grabbed it for someone else. I might do another version of this pose with the hands more like that, since the pointing finger may be too tiny to print well.

Another 3D tinkering heavy weekend, courtesy of brainworms I haven't settled on a pose for the mini, but the rig worked out a lot better than my first model even without much refining. Once I'm happy with it, I'll go in and sculpt in all the fabric and final hand pose and so on before dismembering her for printing

I'd like to revisit my cleanrot sisters sometime soon but the model is a lot harder to work with. It's more complex AND somewhat shoddily made because I was still early in learning

Hello! been away for a while and was doomscrolling, found your recent stuff on your new gal Maris; who looks super cool. How did she get her scars? Was she blown up? if so by what? Still love your art; and I hope to find you while scrolling again.

Well first of all, hope you're not doomscrolling too much any more haha Maris is a soldier (mechanized infantry captain) and she specifically got all that when one of these stepped on an anti tank mine very close to her and then landed on her. So she did get blown up and then crushed. Only survived because the weight was holding arteries closed. She has more flesh and blood left than you'd think. Most of the metal is an exoskeleton acting as a scaffold for her absolutely fucked pelvis and spine

Ohh, man, what RP group?? These characters look so fun, my goodness! I always love seeing the character acting you put into your work.

It's just a tiny discord group with my friends! We had it going years ago and recently resurrected it. If I remember to tag for it, it's called The High Road Thank you! I absolutely love drawing that acting, so I'm glad it comes across!
