I love the irony wherein Raven tries to slander Yang’s image of Qrow by revealing how they went to Beacon to become huntsmen killers in the same chapter that Qrow becomes visibly saddened at discovering all the missing and implied dead huntsmen, even paying off one’s debt.

RWBY Volume 4 special edition contents

There was a review already on Amazon Japan about how amazing the series looks now. Though they do note the lack that special something in the fight scenes that Monty would bring. They also mentioned about how there wasn’t nearly enough showings in theaters as all showings sold out due to the popularity rising from the show airing on television leading up to the theatrical release of volume 4.

I definitely laughed when Qrow broke the table. The faces of everyone else in the room as they smirked. But…Qrow’s face. Sure, his semblance sounds cool and all in a fight. But this scene was so domestic. A somber reminder that he lives every day knowing that simply even leaning his legs on a table could break it. And suddenly it’s not as funny.

FYI: I laughed so hard at Tai’s voice the first time through that I started tearing up and had to pause XD If Qrow’s voice got higher, Tai’s definitely went down a few octaves lol.

And the fact it’s hard enough to hate Adam with his freakin awesome design, they go and give him Nakamura Yuuichi’s voice. Like, that’s so not fair. Also, Mustang from fma:brotherhood as Roman is just awesome.

For the anon questioning RWYB’s popularity, just know that this official Japanese dub I imported is distributed by Warner Bros Japan. In this 35 second scene alone, you have the VA work of Saori Hayami, Hiroaki Hirata, Kazuhiko Inoue, and Yoko Hikasa. Who are no joke. Roles off the top of my head would be Shinoa from Seraph of the End/Fubuki from One Punch Man, Sanji from One Piece, Kakashi from Naruto, and finally Mio from K-On!/going back to Seraph, she’s also Horn Skuld. So ya….it does well in Japan too, in case you’re wondering.
