I am trying to write a destiel fan fic which have a widower!Cas arc,but have a happy ending (because they deserve that.)And yet...I’m stuck.

In 13x14,Cas did make Donatello because Donatello hurt Dean. But it's hard to imagine what would Cas do if Dean is dead,like,into the Empty?We’ve seen widower!Dean in the show,but never Cas.I believe it would be really horrible and hopeless,because Cas said he care about whole world because of Dean.And I have no idea what would happen.It makes me MAD.

Could somebody help me,enlighten me,maybe?

I know Cas is hopelessly in love with Dean, but he's an angel, and how do Angels deal with that？？？？？？
