I finally drew my proof of concept for my long planned old-TOS-crew AU comic.
-
"It's San Francisco in the mid 1980s . Long before earth has ventured into space or shaken hands with aliens.
"Jim Kirk thinks they're out there anyways. And he's going to find them. Armed only with his home made scanner, his Winnebago, and his best friend Bones, he's boldly going to search where no man has gone before, even if it takes him to other end of the United States.
But first he's just got to pick up this hitchhiker..."

general premise is Priscilla Queen of the desert meets one with the whales meets that episode of Frasier where Martin gets a Winnebago. it's meant to be a a bunch of short scenes. it has instead rapidly acquired an eight foot long plot. everyone is queer. every single TOS main crew will be appearing until the whole crew is back together. And then they're all trekking to Amanda's house.
I'm determined to finish it. it may take some time. and encouragement. and blatant flattery probably wouldn't hurt. also Tumblr is shit for Comics now so I will also put the pages up on my AO3 and maybe my dreamwidth. yes I have many other wips right now that I should be doing instead. I regret nothing.
