she's literally the Dark Urge that never got a chance at a redemption arc, she's everything Durge used to be, except no one ever came to show her another way. she's been raised with the understanding that her fate is to kill everyone around her. Durge, the person she arguably has the most connection to, is someone she will one day be forced to consume. when you tell her that Sarevok ordered her death, she completely freaks out and Bhaal himself intervenes and forces her to transform while she screams in pain.

she's your underling, your sister, a murderer just like you, she's the only one who could ever understand what it's like, you're destined to kill each other but until that day comes she's the only person Bhaal allows you to keep, you were supposed to kill her, but she manages to drive a knife into the back of your skull, she steals everything from you including your past and in doing so gives you a second chance, she ruined you, she saved you, she's your destruction and salvation all in one, and no matter what you do she will die in chains

i am so deeply endeared by mattis (and mol and all the other little babies in their group). every time i see him i go into barter mode and i essentially just give him 50 gold. kid gets an allowance. my tav is a tiefling this is her Little Brother. buy urself some fantasy hotwheels please!!
